Abstract

A control mechanism for a Change Speed Gear a fuel supply valves in motor vehicles has a number of control elements. Pressure medium is supplied to each control element via a control valve 10,20,30 constructed as a combined electromagnetic pilot and pressure control valve. The force acting on the valve body 11 can be regulated by changing the magnetic field force. Appliance 17 sends a voltage indicating the instantaneous magnetic induction to an integrating element 51. By comparing the actual value given by the integrating element 51 and a desired value specified by a control circuit 9, which is determined by operating parameters, comparator 50 produces a signal for the electromagnet.
