Abstract

The step platform for work purposes comprises a platform part (1) which rests on a lower rung (4) and braces (2) which curve for suspension on an upper rung (5). The braces are inwardly curved to prevent their release from the upper rung when the platform is exposed to upwardly directed forces. : The braces can also have an S-bending, so that they can be fixed to the platform part at its sides, whilst the curves are located closer to the step platform center.
