The log may be cross cut and a position determining device (5) determines the position of the vehicle using global positioning signals from a satellite (6), while a computer-controlled marking device applies markings to pieces of timber obtained from the trees - Independent claims are included for a method of sawing pieces of timber and for a forestry system
