Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the production of explosives and products based on them, and in particular to the production of high explosives used in the creation of means of initiation, in particular to HMX modified with carbon nanomaterials. The product obtained by the proposed method, in the form of separate small crystals with inclusions of carbon nanomaterials with a specific surface from 1500 cm 2 /g to 4000 cm 2 /g, with particle sizes d 50 from 50 μm to 500 μm, or with normalized particle sizes ( for the manufacture of a shock wave tube) d 50 \u003d 17-25 microns, as well as the presence of electrical conductivity (volumetric electrical resistivity from 1 Ohm⋅m to 5⋅10 4 Ohm⋅m. This product can be used in the manufacture of shock wave tubes non-electric initiation systems, heat-resistant detonating cords, heat-resistant detonators, as well as in other means of initiating and transmitting detonation intended for use in perforating and explosive equipment in deep wells, charges for perforators and explosive equipment (hereinafter referred to as initiation means). explosives ensures the achievement of electrical conductivity or electrostatic dissipation (antistatic), improvement of mechanical properties, in particular in relation to flowability, increase in thermal conductivity and thermal stability of explosives.
When creating means of initiation in production, various types of octogen are widely used: crystalline, finely crystalline, phlegmatized (desensitized), cemented. Existing technologies have been worked out to obtain such products that provide the necessary technical requirements for the manufacture of initiation agents.
For industrial processing of HMX in the composition of various products or directly explosives, as well as for safe use and dosing, a specific form of material is required, for example, in the form of a powder, mixture or granulate. There are various ways to obtain the required technological form of crystals (granules) and technological properties of explosives, such as flowability (which decreases during storage and depends on the external conditions of production facilities), antistatic, uniform particle size distribution (no dust, which is easily electrified and requires frequent routine maintenance). (cleaning, maintaining the required humidity, etc.) and constant quality control of products). These properties are difficult to achieve and add additional operations to the production chain that increase the cost of the final product (granulation, screening, technological testing, etc.). Also, with the existing methods for achieving the specified narrow parameters for the granulometric composition of explosives, due to the requirements for the characteristics of the product and the technology used to manufacture the products (equipment), a large amount of the initial substance is rejected.
A number of patents are known on methods of recrystallization of high explosives, in particular HMX, in order to obtain a given crystal size using e-caprolactam as a solvent. For example, a method for producing ultrafine octogen according to patent RU 2420501 C1, which includes preparing a solution of octogen in an organic solvent, while cyclohexanone, or dimethyl sulfoxide, or acetone, or e-caprolactam is used as an organic solvent, characterized in that octogen is dissolved in an organic solvent at temperature from 50 to 100°C, the solution is dosed within 1÷5 min into a pre-prepared water/toluene emulsion with a temperature not exceeding 6°C at a solution/emulsion mass ratio of 1/1.5÷3 so that the temperature does not rise above 30°C, after which the resulting product is filtered from the mother liquor, transferred to an apparatus with a stirrer, where there is a fresh water / toluene emulsion and mixed, then the product is filtered again, washed with alcohol, and then with petroleum ether and sent for drying. The method allows a simple and accessible method to obtain ultrafine HMX with a specific surface of 20000÷25000 cm 2 /g. Also known is a method of recrystallization of high explosives HMX (Octogen) and RDX (RDX) according to patent US4638065A, in which the crystals of the original explosive are dissolved in a low molecular weight liquid (at room temperature) lactone, after which the degree of saturation of the resulting solution is changed in order to form new crystals of the explosive substances.
Или, например, описанные в работе «Electric conductivity of high explosives at addition of carbon nanotubes» IA Rubtsov, E R Pruuel, К A Ten, А О Kashkarov and S I Kremenko, Various explosives and compositions based on them are known, with the addition of graphite (or other types of carbon), with recrystallization or mechanical stirring (explosive OMA-N (desensitized octogen) TU 84-08628424-821-2005, explosive substance K-91- P2N (desensitized RDX) TU 7276-850-08628424-2009, explosive K-91-N (desensitized RDX) TU 7276-836-08628424-2006). Or, for example, described in the work “Electric conductivity of high explosives in addition of carbon nanotubes” by IA Rubtsov, E R Pruuel, K A Ten, A O Kashkarov and S I Kremenko, where “the following step-by-step technology was used:
The explosive was dissolved in acetone (1:2) at about 50°C.
В результате взаимодействия выпадал серый осадок - ВВ с захваченными УНТ.• With intensive stirring, a solution of explosives in acetone was poured into an aqueous suspension of carbon nanotubes TUBALL COAT_E H2O (the concentration of nanotubes in an aqueous solution was 0.2%). As a result of the interaction, a gray precipitate fell out - explosives with captured CNTs.
The precipitate was separated from the water and dried”.
«Удалось добиться возникновения проводимости изначально не проводившего тротила, тэна и бтфа при добавлении в них 0.5% УНТ».“It was possible to achieve the appearance of conductivity of initially non-conductive TNT, PETN and BTFA by adding 0.5% CNTs to them.”
In this work, the granulometric composition of the resulting mixtures and the possibility of their use for initiation agents are not determined. This technology is also selected as a prototype.
Known explosive composition for wells according to patent RU 2190586C1, which describes the addition of graphite in the amount of 1-8%. “The use of graphite, in addition to increasing heat resistance, sharply reduces the sensitivity of the composition to mechanical stress (impact, friction), eliminates the occurrence of static electricity, facilitates compaction during pressing (reduces pressing pressure) and, thus, significantly increases explosion safety at all stages of manufacture (mixing, pressing, equipment) and operation of the composition.
Известна работа «Reduce the Sensitivity of CL-20 by Improving Thermal Conductivity Through Carbon Nanomaterials» Shuang Wang, Chongwei An, Jingyu Wang and Baoyun Ye, где добавление углеродных наноматериалов в количестве 1% в водную суспензию взрывчатого вещества CL-20 позволяет увеличить теплопроводность ВВ. The work “Reduce the Sensitivity of CL-20 by Improving Thermal Conductivity Through Carbon Nanomaterials” by Shuang Wang, Chongwei An, Jingyu Wang and Baoyun Ye is known, where the addition of carbon nanomaterials in an amount of 1% to an aqueous suspension of CL-20 explosive can increase the thermal conductivity of explosives . It is proved that the improvement of thermal conductivity has a great influence on the sensitivity of explosives, and the impact sensitivity of coated samples is effectively reduced by increasing the thermal conductivity. In addition, the addition of carbon materials has little effect on the energy of explosives.
US4328753A «Low-energy fuse consisting of a plastic tube the inner surface of which is coated with explosive in powder form», A composition of HMX with aluminum powder is known for the manufacture of shock wave tubes, for example, in the US4328753A patent "Low-energy fuse consisting of a plastic tube the inner surface of which is coated with explosive in powder form", where aluminum powder is used in an amount of about 9%, or in the technological process of JSC NMZ Iskra to provide the possibility of optical control of the continuity of the composition inside the shock wave tubes, while aluminum powder is added to octogen by mechanical mixing in a dry form.
These methods of obtaining are taken as a prototype of the method for the production of HMX modified with carbon nanomaterials.
The main disadvantage of these mixtures of explosives and methods (their) production is the presence of a large number of additives that affect the heat resistance and energy of explosive mixtures and the complexity of manufacturing, providing for additional explosive mixing operations, as well as the instability of the granulometric parameters of the feedstock (octogen). Also, when adding aluminum powder in an amount of up to 10% to octogen, a decrease in heat resistance up to .
The purpose of the proposed solution is to develop a fundamentally new substance - HMX, modified with nanocarbon components and a simple method for its production in the form of single crystals with a specific surface area of 1500 cm 2 /g to 4000 cm 2 /g, with particle sizes d50 from 50 μm to 500 μm, or with normalized particle sizes (for the manufacture of a shock wave tube) d50=17-25 µm, the mass fraction of particles larger than 30 µm is not more than 30%. mass fraction of particles smaller than 12 microns, not more than 25%, as well as the presence of electrical conductivity (volume electrical resistance from 1 Ohm⋅m to 5*10 4 Ohm⋅m) or electrostatic dissipation (antistatic), improved mechanical properties, in particular in in terms of flowability, increased thermal conductivity and thermal stability, used in the production of heat-resistant detonating cords, heat-resistant detonators, means of initiating and transferring detonation, intended for use in perforating-explosive equipment in deep wells, charges for perforators and explosive equipment and other means of initiation, as well as achieving the possibility of regulation in the process of synthesis (recrystallization) of light transmission for use in the process of controlling the production of shock-wave tubes of non-electric initiation systems.
To solve this problem, a technology was applied in which the HMX solution was prepared in an organic solvent, as follows:
