Предлагаемое изобретение относится к области электронно-оптической и полупроводниковой техники и может быть использовано при изготовлении оптико-электронных наблюдательных и регистрирующих приборов, предназначенных для эксплуатации в условиях естественных освещенностей (от сумерек до глубокой ночи).The present invention relates to the field of electron-optical and semiconductor technology and can be used in the manufacture of optoelectronic observational and recording devices intended for use in natural light conditions (from twilight to deep night).
Known [1] the design of a highly sensitive hybrid television device UPZS (unified device with charge-coupled communication) manufactured by OJSC "Electron", Russia, St. Petersburg. The device is a charge-coupled photosensitive device (FPSS) combined with a 2+ generation biplanar electron-optical converter (EPO), containing a photocathode located in the ceramic-metal casing, deposited on the instrument input window, and a fiber-optic plate (FOP) formed on it the output surface of the cathodoluminescent screen.
The disadvantage of the device, worsening its threshold characteristics and resolution, is the docking of the FPSS with EPO through two fiber-optic plates with immersion liquid between them.
Known [1] is a highly sensitive small-sized hybrid television device (OAO Elektron, RF, St. Petersburg) based on an electronically sensitive charge-coupled device (CCD), which is a plenary image intensifier tube: a ceramic-metal casing with vacuum, at the input which is installed flat glass with a photocathode deposited on its inner surface, and the output is an electron-sensitive CCD. The disadvantage of this device is the presence of reflected light reflected from the CCD, incident on the photocathode and lowering the threshold sensitivity and resolution of the device, as well as low durability due to the influence of X-ray radiation on the sensitivity of the CCD.
The closest in the set of similar essential features is the known device [1, RU, application No. 2005100169/09 (000177) dated 01/11/2005] containing a photocathode, an electron-optical converter with an electronic output, inside which there is an FPS array with active surface. Due to the optical contact of the image intensifier tube and the FPSS, the luminescence of the phosphor is directly perceived by the FPSS matrix.
The disadvantages of the prototype of the electron-optical converter (EOC) are:
1) низкое (в 5-10 раз ниже по сравнению с центром) значение разрешающей способности по краю поля зрения, так как использована схема ЭОП 0-го поколения с электростатической фокусирующей линзой (электрод);1) low (5-10 times lower than the center) resolution at the edge of the field of view, since a 0-generation image intensifier circuit with an electrostatic focusing lens (electrode) was used;
2) снижение контрастной чувствительности прибора вследствие того, что катодолюминесцентный экран (алюминиевая пленка на люминофоре, нанесенном на изолирующий слой активной поверхности матрицы ФПЗС) обладает высоким коэффициентом отражения прошедшего через фотокатод внутри ЭПО света, что приводит к засветке фотокатода обратным рассеянным светом;2) a decrease in the contrast sensitivity of the device due to the fact that the cathodoluminescent screen (an aluminum film on the phosphor deposited on the insulating layer of the active surface of the FPGA matrix) has a high reflection coefficient of the light transmitted through the photocathode inside the EPO, which leads to exposure of the photocathode to backscattered light;
3) наличие на выходе ЭОП штырьковой ножки, что усложняет конструкцию ЭОП, повышает стоимость и снижает надежность, увеличивая вероятность ухудшения вакуума;3) the presence of a pin foot at the output of the image intensifier tube, which complicates the design of the image intensifier tube, increases cost, and reduces reliability, increasing the likelihood of vacuum deterioration;
4) the appearance of x-ray radiation and a decrease in the durability of the FPSS due to the fact that the supply voltage of the image intensifier tube is 15-18 kV.
The problem to which the claimed invention is directed, is to increase the efficiency of photoelectronic devices used in monitoring and recording devices.
The main technical result obtained by the implementation of the claimed invention is to improve the technical characteristics of the device: contrast sensitivity and resolution with the same resolution across the entire field of view.
The specified technical result is achieved in that the photoelectronic device is an electron-optical converter (EOP) containing a photocathode installed in the vacuum volume of the cermet casing, deposited on the output surface of the input window of the device, and a fiber optic plate (FOP) with a cathode-luminescent screen on its input a surface whose light transmission with an aluminum and light-absorbing coating having an absorption coefficient of not less than 0.97 is not more than 0.01%, and is docked not connected with a photosensitive device with charge coupling (FPSS) by combining through the layer of immersion liquid the pad of the sensitive element of the FPPC with the pad formed on the output surface of the FOP of the image intensifier, while the distance between the surface of the pad of the sensitive element of the FPSS and the surface of the pad formed on the output surface of the FOP should exceed 1 micron with a refractive index of immersion of about 1.5; the outer surface of the FOP outside the vacuum block, with the exception of the area under the site of the sensitive element of the FPSS, is coated with a light-absorbing coating with an absorption coefficient of at least 0.97; EPO sintered metal casing is rigidly connected by means of a fastening device to the FPZS casing, which is installed in the groove of the fastening device and connected to it using a compound; the free space between the outer surface of the GP, the walls of the housing of the FPZS and the body of the mounting device is filled with a compound with a light transmission of not more than 0.03 in the direction of the output surface of the GP; and the distance between the lower surface of the groove for the FPSS in the mounting device and the housing of the FPSS is 0.2 ÷ 0.5 mm greater than the distance between the surface of the site of the sensitive element of the FPSS and the surface of the platform formed at the FOP.
The same resolution value over the entire field of view of the photoelectronic device is ensured by using the planar design of the image intensifier tube.
0,97:Due to the deposition of a light-absorbing coating on a cathodoluminescent screen onto an aluminum coating, there is a significant decrease in the effect on the sensitivity and resolution of a photoelectronic device that has passed through the photocathode (~ 50% of the light is absorbed by the photocathode) of scattered light. To reduce the reflection of light transmitted through the photocathode inside the EPO and, accordingly, improve the contrast sensitivity of the device, taking into account the minimum contrast sensitivity of the eye, 0.03 (rel. Units), the value of which is used in calculating the resolution, the absorption coefficient of the coating should be at least 0 97:
к×(1-Кпог.)≤0.03F,F × tf.c × (1-Kpog.) ≤0.03F,
где F - световой поток на фотокатод;where F is the light flux to the photocathode;
тф.к. - светопропускание фотокатода;tf.k. - light transmission of the photocathode;
Kpog. - significant absorption of the coating.
Поскольку излучение экрана усилено в (φ×V×γ) раз (где φ - чувствительность фотокатода, V - напряжение между фотокатодом и экраном (в нашем случае не более 10 кВ), γ - светоотдача экрана), коэффициент светопропускания экрана должен быть не более 0,01% (для контрастной чувствительности глаза 0,03).Deterioration in the contrast sensitivity and resolution of the photoelectronic device causes light from the cathodoluminescent screen, which has passed through an aluminum and absorbing coating and is incident on the photocathode. Since the radiation from the screen is amplified (φ × V × γ) times (where φ is the sensitivity of the photocathode, V is the voltage between the photocathode and the screen (in our case no more than 10 kV), γ is the light output of the screen), the light transmittance of the screen should be no more 0.01% (for contrast sensitivity of the eye 0.03).
0,97.During operation of the photoelectronic device, light penetrates due to scattering through the outer surface of the FOP and can cause PPSS to illuminate, so the outer surface of the POPs outside the vacuum block (except for the area under the pad of the PPS sensor) is coated with a light-absorbing coating (for example, aquadag) with an absorption coefficient not less than 0.97.
Since the screen shines on the entire outer surface where the cathodoluminophore is deposited, and not only on the surface of the VOP, combined with the surface of the sensing element FPSS, the free space between the outer surface of the VOP, the walls of the mounting device and the walls of the housing FPSS is filled with a compound having a light transmission of not more than 0, 03 in the direction of the output surface of the GP.
10÷15%).Taking into account the resolution of a planar image intensifier tube combined with FPSS, which is 65 ÷ 70 lines / mm, the distance between the surface area of the sensitive element of the FPSA and the surface of the FOP site should not exceed 1 μm with an immersion refractive index of about 1.5. This is ensured by the selected design of the photoelectronic device. In this case, taking into account measures to suppress scattered light (coating the outer surface of the VOP with an absorbent coating, filling the free space between the outer surface of the VOP and the walls of the housings of the mounting device and the FPSC), the total resolution and contrast sensitivity of the photoelectronic device differ slightly (by 3-5%) from the resolution and contrast sensitivity of the FPZS, which is unattainable in analogs (in analogues, the deterioration of the resolution and contrast sensitivity of the FP ZS is at best 10 ÷ 15%).
The ceramic-metal housing of EPO is rigidly connected by means of a fixing device to the housing of the FPZS, which is installed in the groove of the mounting device and connected to it using a compound, while the immersion fluid fills the free space between the mounting device and the housing of the FPZS.
To ensure the penetration of immersion and compound between the groove of the fastening device and the housing of the FPZS, the distance between the lower surface of the groove for the FPZS in the fastening device and the housing of the FPZS should be 0.2 ÷ 0.5 mm greater than the distance between the surface of the pad of the sensitive element of the FPZS and the surface of the pad formed at the GP.
It is preferable that the size of the area formed on the output surface of the FOP corresponds to the size of the area of the sensing element FPSS.
The proposed technical solution due to the design and operating voltage (supply voltage of the image intensifier tube), which does not exceed 10 kV, eliminates the influence of x-ray radiation, which leads to a decrease in resolution, threshold sensitivity of the PPS and the durability (additional technical result) of the device (estimated durability and cost of photoelectronic devices is evaluated at the level of the image intensifier of 2+ generation).

Information confirming the possibility of carrying out the invention with obtaining the above technical result is presented as an example of a design description of the claimed photoelectronic device, which is (Fig. 1) a biplanar image intensifier tube coupled to the FPSS 2. GP is a collection of individual fibers, each of which contains a core and two shells. The fiber diameter and core refractive index determine the numerical aperture, light transmission and resolution of the GP. The diameter of the fiber should not exceed the size of the sensing element FPSS. The surface of the GP, on which the cathodoluminescent screen is applied, is called the input surface, the surface of the GP, combined with the FPSS, is called the output.
0,97.An aluminum coating 8 (acts as a flat electrode in the planar design of an image intensifier tube) and a light-absorbing coating (oxidized chromium or aluminum or the like) 9 with an absorption coefficient of at least 0.97 are applied to the surface of the cathodoluminescent screen 7.
10.A platform 10 is formed on the exit surface (the opposite surface on which the cathodoluminescent screen is applied) of the GPs, with which through the layer of immersion fluid (immersion fluid the refractive index must be equal to or greater than the refractive index of the core) 11 the sensitive area 12 of the FPS is combined 1. Size of the area 10 GP corresponds to the size of the sensitive area 12 FPSS 10.
2. Thus, the housing FPZS 13, the mounting device 16 and the ceramic-metal housing of the EOP 2 form a single unit.
The free space between the housing 13 FPSA and the surface of the groove 14 is filled with immersion liquid to prevent leakage of immersion from the docking sites 10 and platform 12 of the sensitive element FPSA under the influence of temperature changes.
18.The outer surface of the FOP 17 outside the vacuum block with the exception of the exit platform of the FEP under the area of the sensitive element of the FPSS is coated with a light-absorbing coating 18.
12.The distance between the lower surface of the groove 14 for the housing of the FPZS 1 in the mounting device 16 and the housing 13 of the FPZS 10 is 0.2 ÷ 0.5 mm greater than the distance between the surface 12 of the pad of the sensitive element of the FPZS 1 and the surface of the output platform 10 of the GP to ensure the penetration of immersion 11 and compound 15 between the groove 13 and the housing FPZS 12.
