Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for cleaning dielectric liquids and gases from mechanical impurities.
Known electric cleaner of dielectric liquids (E.O.D.J.) [1], comprising a housing and precipitation electrodes, made in the form of metal plates with slots that form channels for the passage of fluid, and equipped with baffles of dielectric material. Precipitation electrodes are connected to a constant high voltage source with alternating sign of potential. The additional electrodes are electrically connected to the cleaner body and with one of the potential signs, for example negative, and the electrodes of the opposite potential sign are located with a gap relative to the inner wall of the body and form additional pairs of precipitating electrodes along the perimeter of the cleaner, the latter in the direction of the liquid flow, The precipitation electrode has a potential sign opposite the potential sign on the housing.
The disadvantage of this cleaner is the relatively low efficiency of the deposition of mechanical particles on the electrode-precipitators, which makes it necessary to run the liquid to be cleaned several times through an electric cleaner to obtain the required level of purity, and this increases the cleaning time and labor costs.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of deposition of mechanical particles on the electrode-precipitators.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the precipitation electrodes have one (or several) holes close to the edge of the electrode, and during assembly, the electrodes are positioned so that the holes in adjacent electrodes are symmetrically and diametrically opposite, while the dielectric partitions are made in the form of cylindrical (or other form) columns so that the liquid (gas) being cleaned flows freely in the interelectrode space.
And this causes the flow of the liquid (gas) to be cleaned to move between the electrodes from the hole in one electrode to the hole in the other electrode, i.e. almost from one wall of the cleaner to another wall is diametrically opposite, and then again from one wall to another, but in the opposite direction and between one of the previous two electrodes and the next, etc. Such movement of a liquid (gas) sharply increases the distance over which each mechanical particle of pollution moves, and thereby increases the time spent by each particle in an electrostatic field, which increases the probability of its deposition on some electrode, i.e. increases the efficiency of deposition of mechanical particles on the electrodes. The size of the hole (s) in the electrodes is such that the liquid (gas) does not experience hydraulic resistance when flowing through them, or this resistance would be small.
Comparative analysis allows us to conclude that the proposed device differs from the prototype in that the precipitating electrodes in it do not have many holes (slots) distributed uniformly over the electrode area, but one (or several) located on one side of the electrode close to its edge, and the subsequent electrode, in relation to the previous one, also has one (or several) holes located symmetrically to the hole in the previous electrode, but diametrically opposite. Thus, the proposed technical solution meets the criterion of "Novelty."
An analysis of the known technical solutions (analogues) in the studied area allows us to conclude that there are no signs in them that are similar to the essential distinguishing features in the inventive device, and to recognize it as meeting the criterion of “Significant differences”.
The use of all the new features can significantly increase the efficiency of the deposition of mechanical particles on the electrodes, i.e. increase the efficiency of cleaning dielectric media.
Figure 1 shows a General view of the cleaner in section with a one-sided arrangement of holes in the electrodes. In Fig.2 - two adjacent electrodes with a hole. The
The proposed electric cleaner works as follows.
Through the
