Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for cleaning dielectric liquids and gases from mechanical impurities and contaminants.
Known electric cleaner of dielectric liquids [1], comprising a housing and flat precipitation electrodes with parallel slots.
The disadvantage of this cleaner is that slots located parallel to each other occupy a large part of the electrode surface, which leaves a small area for the deposition of contaminants. And this makes the electric cleaner a little effective, or it is necessary to significantly increase its longitudinal dimensions.
Known electric cleaner of dielectric liquids and gases [2], including a housing and precipitation electrodes with slots. The electrodes themselves and the dielectric partitions between them are cylindrical in shape and have through annular slots in planes perpendicular to the common axis of the housing.
The disadvantage of this electric cleaner is its huge loss in the deposition surface area per unit of its length. A flat electrode wins in area per unit length by about 0.5 times the radius of the electrode.
Closest to the invention is an electric cleaner of dielectric liquids and gases with parallel electrodes [3], including a housing and precipitation electrodes made in the form of a cone and a truncated cone (adjacent electrodes). In the latter type of electrode there are openings for the flow of the liquid or gas being cleaned.
The disadvantage of this cleaner is that although the taper of the electrodes increases the area of deposition of contaminants, it also, and to a greater extent, increases the longitudinal dimensions of the electric cleaner.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the precipitation electrodes are a monolithic metal honeycomb structure in plan with a metal rim around the perimeter, repeating the shape of the body of the electric cleaner in cross section, and the wall thickness of the cells is the minimum possible by the technology of their manufacture and amounts to a fraction of a millimeter, the walls of the honeycombs have a width and height of 10 or less millimeters, which provides an increase in the area of deposition of contaminants of the cellular electrode, compared with a flat electrode, and a small thickness the cell walls allow negative ions to form at their ends, and the high voltage applied to the electrodes should not exceed 6 kV so that argon does not form.
If we take the size of the
If we take into account the holes in the flat electrode (and they are approximately equal in area to the deposition area), then the useful area of the cell electrodes will be more than 2 times that of flat electrodes.
If the cell face size and its height are taken equal to 10 mm, then the usable area (contamination deposition area) of the cell electrode will be 1.15 times larger than that of the flat electrode.
And when the size of the cell’s face and its height is 15 mm, the useful area of the honeycomb electrode will be less than 0.4 times that of a flat electrode. It turns out that the cell size to increase more than 10 mm is impractical. The smaller the cell size, the larger will be the effective area of the electrode.
Сопоставительный анализ с прототипом показывает, что заявляемый электроочиститель отличается формой электродов в виде сот (шестигранных ячеек).Comparative analysis with the prototype shows that the inventive electric cleaner differs in the form of electrodes in the form of honeycombs (hexagonal cells).
Thus, the inventive electric cleaner meets the criteria of the invention of "novelty."
An analysis of the known technical solutions in the studied area allows us to conclude that there are no signs in them that are similar to the essential distinguishing features in the inventive electric cleaner, and to recognize it as meeting the criterion of "significant differences".
The use of all new features allows to increase the area of deposition of impurities on the electrodes, and thereby increase the efficiency of cleaning dielectric media, with the same dimensions of the electric cleaner.
Figure 1 shows a longitudinal section of an electric cleaner, figure 2: a) is a transverse section; b) - honeycomb face; c) cell and d) plate electrodes.
The electric cleaner, see figure 1, consists of a housing 1 of a cylindrical (or any other) shape,
9.An electric cleaner of dielectric liquids and gases with cellular electrodes works as follows. The cleaned medium enters through the
