Abstract
Description
The invention relates to techniques for purifying water, process liquids and industrial wastewater from dissolved gases. It can be used in industrial and municipal heating systems, in hot water supply systems to remove dissolved gases.
(1). The closest analogue to the claimed invention is a device for degassing liquids, including a vertical degassing column, closed at both ends and equipped with a ventilation pipe and a water supply pipe, a tank for accumulating degassed water with a water pipe to the consumer, an nozzle head (1).
The objective of the invention is to increase the efficiency of degassing, the reliability of the functioning of the degasser and increase its efficiency
The problem is achieved by the fact that the invention implements additional mechanisms of action on the degassed liquid before it is fed to the degasser, as well as by the fact that the residence time of the degassed liquid in the degassing zone is increased. This is due to the following considerations:
1. It is known that the acidity of water affects its degassing properties (2). In particular, a decrease in the pH parameter improves the degassing efficiency. Changing the acidity parameter of water can be achieved by electrically acting on water, passing it between two electrodes. At the outlet of the electrolysis unit, the water taken from one of the electrodes has a higher pH value compared to the pH of the water supplied to the electrolysis. At the other electrode, the water will have a lower pH value. At certain values of the operating modes of electrolysis, as shown by experiments, it is possible after merging these flows to again achieve for a short time (10-15 minutes) a significant change in the pH of water compared to the pH of the water supplied to the electrolysis, both in one and On the other side. The time to maintain a changed pH value (its increased value, for example) is quite sufficient for the degassing process to take place in a degasser.
2. In the prototype of the invention, it was proposed to supply liquid to the degasser volume through the nozzle head, for example, from utilized rocket engines. However, it is known that the droplet formation process by the nozzles of LRE (liquid rocket engines) is significantly affected by mechanical vibrations of the head itself (3). Therefore, it is advisable to use this mechanism to intensify the process of droplet formation in a vacuum degasser. For this, the nozzle head for supplying a degassed liquid must be equipped with a vibrator acting on the head. The nozzle head itself must be placed in the degasser with the possibility of small longitudinal vibrations without violating the tightness of the degassing cavity.
3. It is known that nozzles, for example, in the form of Rashig rings, can increase the residence time of the liquid in the degassing zone (2). In the prototype (1), the residence time of the liquid in the degassing zone was increased due to the use of a screw plane 7 in the collector 6. But the cavity of the collector itself can be filled with the same Rashig rings and this will significantly increase the residence time of the liquid in the degassing zone, and improve the degassing efficiency. Moreover, when jet water is supplied to the degassing zone on Rashig rings, the rings usually move intensively under the influence of the dynamic pressure of the jets, abrasion of the rings, crumbs of which, getting into the pumps, disable them. With mechanical movements of the Rashig ring, the walls of the degassing columns are abraded, for this reason accidents of thermal vacuum degassers were observed. The supply of water for degassing through the nozzle heads eliminates these drawbacks completely - the Raschig rings remain completely stationary.
Thus, the foregoing makes it possible to improve the degree of degassing of the liquid without changing the size of the degassing column, to increase the reliability of operation and the economics of the degasser.
The drawing shows a diagram of a device for degassing liquids (General view in section).
The device consists of a cylindrical body 1 with a water supply pipe 2, from pipes 3,4,5 of steam and gas removal, a collector 6 of sprayed water removal with a perforated screw plane 7, a container 8 for accumulating degassed water with a pipe 9 of water discharge to the consumer. A nozzle head 10 is installed on the water supply pipe 2. In the upper part of the degasser there is a swirl of sprayed water, consisting of a reflector 11 and a system of plate guides 12 made along a helical line on the inner surface of the housing.
7. The water supply to the nozzle head 10 is carried out through a collector 14, mounted hermetically, but with the possibility of longitudinal movement in the plane of the housing 1, the other end of which is made in the form of a heel 15, placed in the liquid bath 17 of the ultrasonic vibrations source 16. The water is supplied to the collector 14 through pipe 2, into which it comes from the electrolysis cell 13. For mechanical isolation of the collector 14 and the cell 13, a compensator 19 is built into the pipe 2, made in the form of a bellows with low bending stiffness. The cavity of the collector 6 contains a ring Rashig 18, placed on a helical plane 7.
The device operates as follows.
After starting the vacuum pump, not shown in the drawing, and lowering the pressure in the degasser to a value corresponding to the condition of boiling water, degassed water is supplied under pressure of 0.1-0.6 MPa through the electrolyzer 13, compensator 19, pipe and manifold 14 into the nozzle the head 10. The nozzle head 10 creates a cascade of "dagger" jets that collide with the reflector 11, untwisting it. Reflected from the elements of the impeller, the bulk of the water is sprayed and directed through the receiving slit to the collector 6 through the specially profiled part of the impeller blades, where water flows into the reservoir 8. On the surface of the Rashig rings 18 placed on the screw perforated plate 7, water that does not enter the collector 6 flows down the cylindrical surface of the housing. Moreover, in order to increase the residence time of the liquid under vacuum conditions, the plate guides 12 swirl the fluid flow both on the inner surface of the housing 1 and inside the manifold 6. Since the fluid flows both in the degasser housing 1 and in the manifold 6, with intense gas evolution , the evolved gas is discharged through nozzles 3, 4, 5, moreover, for gas-dynamic communication of different zones of the collector 6, perforation is performed in the screw plane 7. The deaerated water is discharged from the tank 8 through the nozzle 9. Moreover, due to the ejecting properties of the liquid jets in the so-called bottom region, a region of reduced pressure arises, in which the gas evolution processes are most intensive, and the nozzle 4 is used to drain them, while the bottom region is limited by the shell not indicated by the position in the drawing.
Based on the physicochemical properties of the water supplied for degassing, it can be subjected to electromagnetic treatment in the electrolyzer 13 before degassing, and ultrasonic acoustic exposure can be applied to the nozzle head itself using a source of ultrasonic vibrations 16. The parameters of one or the other are determined by the experimental path for each case.
6. Moreover, the use of nozzle heads with screw centrifugal nozzles eliminates the design of the degasser from the sprayer 11, since the nozzles themselves allow for high-quality liquid atomization. But in this case, it is advisable to place the nozzle head at the top of the degassing column, and the degasser body 1 must be closed with a reflector on top, for example, in the form of a cone, the apex of which is located at a distance of 1.5-2 diameter of the nozzle head from the spray plane. The reflective cone is dotted in the drawing. In this case, the water sprayed by the nozzle head either due to its own movement, or sliding along the surface of the cone, will be in the cavity of the collector 6.
Thus, the proposed measures can improve the efficiency of degassing liquids, increase the reliability of operation of the degasser and its efficiency. The implementation of these proposals only in the form of using a nozzle head with centrifugal screw nozzles made it possible to reduce the residual oxygen content by 1.5 times in comparison with the usual version of the thermal vacuum degasser.
