Abstract
Description
The invention relates to chemical technology, in particular, to methods for producing solutions of cellulose in methylmorpholine N-oxide (MMO) to obtain various hydrated cellulose (HC) molded products of fibers, films, sponges on their basis.
C 08 L 1/02, 1979).A known method of obtaining a solution of cellulose, which consists in the fact that the cellulose is pre-soaked in 30 to 40% aqueous solution of IMO and homogenized under vacuum to a water content of 13 to 15% and the resulting pre-solution is packaged. Then the mixture is processed in an extruder, where when evacuating and heating to 120 140 o C there is a further removal of water to a content of 6 10% and the formation of a solution. The following are the stages of filtration and molding. The actual concentration of spinning solutions does not exceed 18 to 20 wt. (U.S. Patent No. 4,144,080, CL C 08
Along with the fundamental advantages compared to the main existing viscose process, the most important of which is the environmental cleanliness of the new process, it also has a number of significant disadvantages. For example, the low thermal stability of MMOs and, as a consequence, the high probability of cellulose degradation processes, the difficultly controlled, energy-intensive stage of removing excess water from the system and the insufficiently high deformation properties of the obtained GC molded products, significantly complicating the process of textile processing and, accordingly, reducing the range of new GC fibers.
D 01 F 2/02, 1991). The closest in technical essence to the invention is a method of producing a cellulose solution for the manufacture of molded products, in which the cellulose is mixed with methylmorpholine-N-oxide, containing water, and joint solid-phase processing of the resulting mixture under shear stress and pressure (RF patent N 1645308 Cl. D 01 F 2/02, 1991).
105 - 135oC.In the known method carry out the mixing of cellulose with methylmorpholine-N-oxide (IMO) containing 6 to 10 wt. when the mass ratio of cellulose and IMO 15 35: 65 85 at room temperature until the mixture is completely homogenized and its melting point reaches 105 - 135 o C.
However, the indicated conditions of solid-phase treatment of MMO cellulose do not provide the homogeneity of highly concentrated systems necessary for molding, the size of heterogeneous particles is 2 μm, which leads to instability of the molding process.
The technical result of the invention is to increase the efficiency of solid-phase interaction of cellulose with methylmorpholine-N-oxide, simplifying the process, increasing the manufacturability of the stages of preparation of the dope solution and increasing the concentration of the dope solution.
5 15oC.To achieve a technical result in a method for producing a cellulose solution, for the manufacture of molded products, in which cellulose is mixed with methylphospholin-N-oxide containing water, and the combined solid-phase treatment of the resulting mixture under shear stress and pressure conditions according to the invention, cellulose powder with particle size is used not more than 200 microns and methylmorpholine-N-oxide containing 3 to 5 wt. water, and mixing is carried out at a mass ratio of cellulose and methylmorpholine-N-
A method of obtaining a cellulose solution for the manufacture of molded products is as follows. Dissolved wood pulp of any nature and degree of polymerization (SP) is ground in a twin-screw extruder to a powder state (g <200 μm) and mixed with IMO containing not more than 5 wt. water at a mass ratio of 10 50: 90 50. The resulting powder mixture is loaded in small portions into a cooled twin-screw extruder with a variable set of grinding, mixing and conveying elements, where, when the reaction mass passes along the length of the extruder barrel, it is subjected to a joint action of shear stresses and pressure, as a result which, at the exit from the screw, a powdery "solid" cellulose pre-solution is formed in the IMO. The preparation time of a highly concentrated "solid" solution is 3 5 min (the time the mixture passes through the extruder). The temperature in the zones of the screw should not exceed 15 o C, because an increase in temperature leads to the melting of the "solid" solution, leading to a decrease in reactivity and, accordingly, a decrease in the homogeneity of the dope.
Next, the "solid" solution is Packed and packaged for storage and further processing or continuously fed into a melt single screw extruder.
Due to the temperature effect in the prefilter zone and the shear stresses realized, the “solid solution” melts, mixes, and passes into a spinning solution. The resulting solution is formed by dry-wet method in a precipitation bath. Thus, in one pass through an extruder with four heating zones T1 50 o C, T2 120 o C, T3 120 o C, Filters - 130 o C, the "solid" pre-solution is melted, dissolution - transformation into a fluid spinning dope and formation. Solid-phase extrusion treatment of cellulose MMO, carried out in a chilled extruder with a shear stress of 0.5 to 2.0 N / sq. mm and a pressure of 2 30 MPa, not only simplifies the technology of processing cellulose into HF fibers, but also leads to the fact that the resulting spinning solution is highly homogeneous, the average radius of heterophase particles in which does not exceed 0.1 - 0.15 microns, which allows to exclude filtration from the technological scheme.
The resulting powdery "solid" pre-solution has a high reactivity, which allows the subsequent exposure to temperature and shear stresses in the molten extruder to obtain ultra-highly concentrated solutions containing up to 50 wt. cellulose.
The invention is illustrated by the following examples.
Example 1. The resulting mixture is continuously fed into two screw extruder with automatic cooling, the temperature in the zones T1 T5 support equal to 5 o C, the number of revolutions of the
Next, the “solid” pre-solution is loaded into the dosing device of a single-screw extruder having four heating zones, temperature in zones: T1 50 o C, T2 70 o C, T3 120 o C, T4 130 o C,

The thread is formed by dry-wet method in an aqueous solution of IMO. The formed thread has a strength of 35 to 40 kg / sq. Mm and a tensile elongation of 18 to 20%
Examples 2 6. Carried out analogously to example 1. The parameters of the processes of solid-phase processing, processing of "solid" solutions into fluid, the properties of the spinning solutions and the physical and mechanical properties of the fibers are presented in the table.
