Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agricultural radiology, in particular, to fodder production, and can be used to obtain "clean" crop products in the territory contaminated with radioisotopes of cesium.
There is a method of reducing the flow of radioisotopes of strontium and cesium from the soil into the plant through the use of various agricultural methods of tillage (milling, disking, plowing and deepening the contaminated layer) in combination with the introduction of ameliorants, chemical and organic fertilizers. The disadvantage of this method is the insufficient degree of reduction of radionuclides in the plant (not more than 2.5 times).
Недостатком способа является низкая степень снижения перехода радиоцезия в растения (не более чем 1,5 раза).The closest in technical essence and the achieved effect is a way to reduce the exchange of radiocaesium by introducing into the soil a natural sorbent - zeolite - in an amount of 10 t / ha (1 kg / m 2 ) (prototype). The disadvantage of this method is the low degree of decrease in the transition of radiocaesium to plants (not more than 1.5 times).
The objective of the invention is to increase the degree of reduction of the transition of cesium from soil to plants.
This goal is achieved by introducing into the soil a ferrocyanide-bentonite sorbent based on ferrocyanides of copper and / or iron - the waste process of demetallization and clarification of wine materials.
A significant difference of the proposed method is the use of a ferrocyanide-bentonite sorbent (PBS) as a selective sorbent, with PBS added to the soil before its mechanical treatment in an amount of 5-20 g / m 2 or when watering in an amount of 0.05-5 g / m 2 in terms of the ferrocyanide component.
This set of essential features is not described in the patent and scientific and technical literature, which indicates that the proposed solution meets the requirement of "novelty."
PBS in the form of a precipitate is formed in large quantities during demetallization (removal of excess ions of iron, zinc, copper and other metals) and clarification of wine materials. According to existing technology, wine material contaminated with transition metal ions above acceptable standards is treated with a solution of potassium ferrocyanide and powdered bentonite, sometimes in the presence of food coagulants (gelatin, bone glue, etc.). The resulting transition metal ferrocyanides are captured by bentonite particles and, together with suspended solids, are precipitated. After settling and thickening, the precipitate is dried and used as a sorbent. The trademark of such a sorbent is "KhZh-90". In dry KhZh-90, the main components are bentonite and transition metal ferrocyanides (mainly iron (III)). In addition to these components, salts of organic acids, residues of fruits and berries, gelatin, and trace elements are contained in small quantities.
In the sorbent KhZh-90, the content of iron ferrocyanide is 1.5-5 wt.%.
In addition, PBS is formed during the two-stage treatment of bentonite clay with first spent pickling solutions (containing iron chloride or a mixture of iron and copper chlorides), and then potassium ferrocyanide. In this case, the resulting sorbents may contain 2.5-10 wt.% Transition metal ferrocyanides. Using this production technology allows you to recycle a number of waste galvanic and metallurgical industries. These sorbents have the designation FBS-T.
The effectiveness of PBS in reducing the transfer of radiocesium from soil to plants far exceeds bentonite and natural zeolite (clinoptilolite). The high efficiency of the proposed sorbent is apparently associated with the presence of transition metal ferrocyanides in its composition. Although these compounds are known as selective sorbents capable of extracting cesium ions from solutions, they were not known as a means of reducing the transfer of radiocesium from soil to plants.
We experimentally showed that when equal doses (according to the active ingredient) of synthetic ferocyanides of iron, copper and PBS are introduced into the soil, their effectiveness is almost the same. In addition, the presence of organic substances and microelements in the FBS composition favorably affects the growth of plants and their productivity, and the presence of a bentonite base gives them increased physical and chemical stability and provides convenience when applied to the soil. PBS is introduced into the soil before its mechanical treatment in an amount of 5-20 g / m 2 , and when watering - 0.05-5 g / m 2 . When using smaller doses, the effectiveness of the sorbent decreases, and an increase in the doses above the indicated ones does not lead to a further increase in efficiency and is not economically feasible.
All of the above indicates that the proposed set of essential features is new, not obvious to the specialist, and the proposed solution satisfies the conditionally "inventive step".

The results of radiometric analysis of the green mass of plants grown according to examples 1-4, and the control group of plants grown on contaminated soil without applying the sorbent are shown in the table. The content of 137 Cs in the green mass of the control plants was 1.6 ± 0.2 in wheat; in barley - 0.7 ± 0.2 m Ci / g.
The presented data show that the introduction of PBS into the soil allows to reduce the 137 Cs content in plants by 2.8–40 times, compared with 1.3 times achieved in the prototype method. In this case, the absolute amount of the introduced sorbent can be 4-200 times smaller.
The technical and economic advantages of the proposed method consist in increasing the reduction ratio of cesium radionuclides in the green mass of plants compared to the prototype by 2-30 times, as well as in increasing the efficiency of the process of obtaining "pure" crop products through the use of much smaller (4-200 times) the amount of sorbent introduced.
In addition, the fundamental difference between the proposed method and the known one is the extremely strong fixation of cesium radionuclides on a superselective bentonite-ferrocyanide sorbent, in contrast to natural minerals such as clinoptilolite. The cesium distribution coefficients, which are the criterion for the selective properties of sorbents for BFS in 1 mol / L sodium nitrate solution, are 10 4 , and for clinoptilolites 400-600. This indicates that when the salt background changes (which occurs during the application of mineral fertilizers in the soil or during irrigation), cesium radionuclides will be washed out of clinoptilolite, while these processes will not occur on BFS.
