Avantajele procedeului conform inventiei constau în aceea ca el este realizabil în mod favorabil si economic în industria si produsul dorit, fiind preparat cu un randament bun.The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzonitrile from 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid, characterized in that it is allowed to react 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid with urea and with sulfamic acid and then the 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzonitrile obtained is isolated. 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzonitrile is a valuable intermediate product of the chemical industry and in particular of the pharmaceutical industry.
