The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a base composition which has incorporated within it A) an amino-silane material and i) a silane with a primary amine group having the formula: (RO)XR(3-X)SlR1NHR2 (I) ii) the reaction product of a silane with a primary amine group of formula I with a silane having an epoxy group of formula A - Si(B)a(OB)(3-a) (II) iii) the reaction product of a silane with a primary amine group of formula I with an alpha-omega- dihydroxypolydimethylsiloxane oil of formula HO(Si(CH3)2O)yH (III) B) a chlorinated polyolefin, C) a polydiorganosiloxane which can be cured at room temperature.
