Description

Oppfinnelsen vedrører presenninger av vevnad, plastbelagt vevnad, florstoffer eller uforsterkede eller forsterkede plastfolier med kantforsterkningsstrimler.
Presenninger anvendes stort sett som tildeknings-elementer for beskyttelse av f.eks. materialer mot vind og vær, kulde, varme og støv. For rene tildekningsformål benyttes de som regel i ukonfeksjonert form. I konfeksjon-ert form, dvs. etter tilskjæring, kantforsterkning, anordning av hull eller andre holdeinnretninger, blir presenningene eksempelvis brukt som kjøretøypresenninger, byggpresenninger, jernbanevognpresenninger, osv. Med hull eller kroker, holdelister eller andre festemidler forsynte presenninger har stor betydning innen bygge-bransjen, og de tjener bl.a. til beskyttelse mot vær og vind.
Det er tidligere kjent å anordne hull langs presenningens kant og å forsyne hullkantene med metallfor-sterkning eller plastforsterkning.
For å bedre hullenes utrivningsfasthet er det videre kjent å brette presenningens kant en eller flere ganger, for derved å få en forsterkning, idet hullene an-ordnes i den på denne måte forsterkede presenningkant.
Videre er det kjent å danne kantforsterkningene
ved hjelp av prefabrikerte plaststrimler som festes til presenningkanten ved hjelp av sveisesømmer, hvoretter det foretas en lokking av den slik forsterkede presenningkant. Alle de foran nevnte metoder for anbringelse av hullene
har naturligvis den ulempe at hullene enten må anbringes på de enkelte presenninger i ønsket avstand og antall etter enkeltbestillinger, eller at- man anbringer hullene uten hensyn til enkelte spesialbehov, dvs. at man ofte får hull der hvor man ikke ønsker hull eller hvor det ikke er nød-vendig å ha. slike hull. Dette betyr naturligvis at presenningen vil være perforert på enkelte uønskede steder.
Fra US patentskrift nr. 3 226 281 er det eksempelvis kjent å benytte hullforsterkningslapper som er forsynt med hull før de settes på, f.eks. et klesplagg som er uten hull. I praksis vil man imidlertid ikke kunne få mulig-het for vilkårlig valg av antall og/eller anordning av åpninger eller hull hos brukeren, fordi det i US patentet dreier seg om en samtidig påsetting av trykk-knapper. Hullforsterkningslappen dannes i dette US patent av en strimmel i form av et bånd som er belagt med varmefølsomt plastmateriale og som blir hullforsynt før det varmes og presses fast til eksempelvis et klesplagg.
Fra det tyske utlegningsskrift nr. 10 79 803
er det kjent å bruke kantstrimler forsynt med hull, hvilke kantstrimler festes til en presenningkant. Samtlige hull i kantstrimmelen er imidlertid gjennomgående og åpne.
Ifølge oppfinnelsen er det derfor tilveiebragt
en presenning med kantforsterkningsstrimler, hvilken presenning er kjennetegnet ved at kantforsterkningsstrimlene er uløsbart forbundet over hele sin flate med presenningen, og ved at det utelukkende i kantforsterkningsstrimlene er anordnet hull, slik at presenningen sammen med kantforsterkningsstrimlene i området ved hullene danner blindhull som etter behov kan gjennomstikkes for dannelse av festeåpninger.
På denne måten forenkler man fremstillingen av
en presenning av den innledningsvis nevnte type, og man oppnår den fordel at antall og/eller anordningen av kant-forsterkede åpninger eller hull kan velges av benytteren. Det er fordelaktig å holde avstanden mellom blindhullene
så liten som mulig. For kantforsterkningsstrimlene kan man benytte samme materiale som selve presenningen, eller et annet materiale enn det som benyttes i presenningen.
En særlig økonomisk fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av presenninger med forsterkningsstrimler, ved hvilken fremgangsmåte presenningene fremstilles ved ekstrudering av en smeltet plastmasse gjennom en bredslissdyse, er kjennetegnet ved at kantforsterkningsstrimlene fremstilles på samme måte som presenningen, deretter lokkes og føres forbi den dyse som sprøyter ut presenningen, og således under fremstillingen av presenningen kontinuerlig presses mot

Claims (2)

  1. Presenning med kantforsterkningsstrimler forsynt med hull, karakterisert ved at kantforsterkningsstrimlene (2) er uløsbart forbundet over hele sin flate med presenningen (1),■ og ved at det utelukkende i kantforsterkningsstrimlene (2) er anordnet hull (9), slik at presenningen (1) sammen med kantforsterkningsstrimlene (2) i området ved hullene (9) danner blindhull (3) som etter behov kan gjennomstikkes for dannelse av festeåpninger.
  2. 2. Fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av presenninger med forsterkningsstrimler ifølge krav 1, ved ekstrudering av presenningen fra en smeltet plastmasse gjennom en bredslissdyse, karakterisert ved at kantforsterkningsstrimlene (2) fremstilles på samme måte som presenningen (1), deretter hulles og føres forbi dysen (7) som sprøyter ut presenningen (1), og presses kontinuerlig mot presenningen (1) mens denne dannes.
