Abstract

The suspension hook is for use with a clothes hanger, etc. having a smoothly-curved hook. A locking member slides along and is guided by the hook, and under gravity assumes a stable position in relation to the hook such as to shut off or narrow the opening of the latter. The member can comprise two plates parallel to each other and whose outline matches that of the hook curve, so that hook and member can fit round a suspension bar. The plates are joined and held apart by distance pieces which also guide it along the hook. The distance pieces can be cylindrical bars, all attached by snap couplings at the same end to the opposite plate.
