The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a support part for a receiving frame that forms part of a loading system for emptying a holder.
Bekende beladingssystemen worden gebruikt voor het 10 ledigen van ondermeer afvalcontainers in vuilnisauto's.Known loading systems are used for emptying, among other things, waste containers in garbage trucks.
The truck is hereby provided with a loading system with a pick-up frame at the rear. With the help of a lifting mechanism, the loading system causes the waste container to be emptied to undergo a pivoting movement. Here, such a receiving frame with its ends of the lifting mechanism, for example in the form of lifting arms, hooks onto the container and subsequently makes the pivoting movement whereby the waste container is placed substantially inversely above the refuse collection truck and the waste to be discharged becomes from this container. emptied in the garbage truck. During the pivoting movement the container is supported with a support part.
Because the containers to be emptied are generally located on the ground, that is to say on the same floor as the vehicle, the receiving frame must pick up or support the containers relatively low on the ground. This means that the receiving frame is provided with various parts, such as the support part, which are relatively low to the ground. Since vehicles provided with a loading system with such a pick-up frame generally move in densely populated areas, such as villages and towns, such a vehicle has to maneuver frequently to avoid obstacles such as posts and thresholds. In practice, it has been found that, among other things, speed bumps inflict damage on the receiving frame in particular. This results in, among other things, high maintenance and repair costs, limited availability of the vehicle and interruptions in the collection of waste.
The present invention has for its object to provide a support part for a receiving frame, wherein such damage and downtime are prevented or reduced in a user-friendly manner.
To this end, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a support part for a receiving frame that forms part of a loading system for emptying a container, comprising the steps of: - placing a piece of sheet material to form a support part, wherein support member is movable relative to the receiving frame; - forming a flexible material for realizing a contact part between the support part and the holder; - assembling the contact part with the support part with first fastening means; and - securing the support part to the receiving frame with second fastening means.
By supporting a piece of plate material, a support part is formed for the container or waste container. The holder here rests on this support part, wherein a flexible material is provided between the support part and the holder for forming a contact part. The flexible material prevents damage to the holder and also provides a degree of damping, which, among other things, limits the transmission of undesired vibrations. The use of the flexible material, instead of, for example, moving parts, also prevents wear of such moving parts. The support part is obtained by assembling this support part and contact part, with the aid of the first fastening means. The support part is hereby movable relative to the receiving frame. This is relevant, for example, if the vehicle to which the loading system is fitted moves backwards and, for example, hits a speed bump or curb. In such a case the support part will yield or bend or bend and damage and the like will be avoided. The bending movement or rotation movement of the support part relative to the receiving frame preferably takes place for a large part in an angle or edge formed during setting. Also if the vehicle moves forward and drives off a threshold or edge, it is possible that the bearing part placed relatively low to the ground touches the ground. By providing this part movably relative to the receiving frame, damage is also avoided in that case. This movement is preferably effected by tilting about a tilting point corresponding to the buckling point of the support part, such as is applied during setting of the support part. This tilting point is preferably located at or near the end of the lifting arm construction of the pick-up frame.
In a preferred embodiment according to the invention, the support part is heated during setting of the plate material and the support part is bent over an additional angle to compensate for the bending back during the cooling process.
Because the plate material, which is somewhat flexible, is cooled, some degree of bending back to the starting position of the plate material will take place. By already compensating for this during setting, it is avoided that an additional operation must be carried out on the support part.
In a preferred embodiment according to the invention, at least one recess is provided during the forming of the contact part.
The flexibility of this contact part is further increased by providing a recess in the contact part. This provides better support and damping for the holder. Preferably, the at least one recess is provided extending in the width direction of the loading system. A substantially equal support is hereby obtained over a whole width.
In a further preferred embodiment according to the invention, forming the support part also comprises placing at least one reinforcing rib in one or more of the recesses over at least a part of the length of this recess.
By arranging the at least one reinforcing rib, it is achieved that the contact part is strengthened such that it remains dimensionally stable and is better able to absorb the varying loads caused by the holders. An additional advantage is that the contact part can be connected to the support part by means of the reinforcing rib, preferably via a screw connection.
The number of components, among other things, remains limited.
In a further embodiment according to the invention, the support part is provided with a support surface with which the support part is connected to the receiving frame.
By providing a support surface, a connection surface is obtained between the support part and the other parts of the receiving frame. This makes the occurring forces more transferable. It is also hereby possible to establish a good connection between the support part and the pick-up frame such that these parts remain connected even with the relatively large forces occurring in the event of a traffic threshold or curb being hit.
In a further preferred embodiment according to the invention the setting of the piece of plate material is carried out on plate material made of high-density polyethylene.
By using high density polyethylene (HDPE) it is achieved that a support part is obtained which is flexible to some extent and can move with respect to the receiving frame to absorb the occurring loads. This not only concerns loads as a result of the holders, but also loads as a result of contact with, among other things, speed bumps and curbs. The contact part is preferably formed from a rubber material in order thereby to achieve sufficient flexibility and elasticity.
In a further preferred embodiment according to the invention, the circumference of the contact part is provided in a kind of D-shape.
By forming the contact part in a kind of D-shape, wherein the curved side is in contact with the holder, imposed loads are better absorbed. Relatively heavy holders will further depress the contact part in order to thereby obtain a larger contact surface so that occurring peak loads can nevertheless remain limited.
The invention further relates to a loading system and a vehicle provided with such a loading system provided with a support part manufactured according to one or more of claims 1-8. These offer the same effects and advantages as those mentioned in the method.

4; en fig. 6 een zijaanzicht volgens fig. 4 waarbij een 15 zwaardere houder wordt geheven.4; and Fig. 6 shows a side view according to Fig. 4, wherein a heavier holder is lifted.
A vehicle 2 (Fig. 1) is provided with a receiving frame 4 with a protective part 6 arranged thereon. In the embodiment shown, this protective part 6 protrudes farthest backwards in the direction of travel. The receiving frame 4 further has a support part 8 for supporting a waste container to be lifted.
The support part 8 (Fig. 2) is relatively low to the ground and in the case that the vehicle 2 moves in the direction indicated by arrow A, the support part 8 will, with the wheels 12 of the vehicle 2 touches this threshold 10. The support part 8 is movably connected to the pick-up frame 4. In case the pick-up frame 4 will touch the ground, such as the threshold 10, the support part 8 will tilt, in the direction indicated by arrow B, relative to the pick-up frame 4, without permanently distort.
The receiving frame 4 (Fig. 3) is provided with a number of hooks or combs provided with teeth 14 that engage under a 7 edge of the container. The receiving frame 4 shown consists of two mirrored parts with which it is possible to empty two separate containers or to empty a container of larger dimensions together with the aid of both parts. The receiving frame 4 has a support surface 16 to which the support part 18 of the support part 8 is attached. To this end, the support part 18 is provided with a support surface 20. The support surface 20 is connected by means of strip 22 and mounting bolts 24 to the remaining part of the receiving frame 4. The support part 8 is further provided with a corner point 26 which is located near the end of the bearing surface 16 of the receiving frame 4. This corner point or tilting point 26 is located between the bearing surface 20 and the connecting support part 28 of support part 18. The connecting support part 28 is connected to contact part 30. This contact part 30 is provided with two relatively large recesses 32 in which a mounting surface 34 for reinforcing rib 36 is provided. In addition, the contact part 30 is provided with a recess 38.
6 het heffen van een nog gevulde container 40.The supporting part 8 (Fig. 4) serves to support a holder 40 which is picked up with the aid of the combs 14 of the receiving frame 4. The container 40 herein rests on the support part 8 via contact part 30 which in the embodiment shown is designed in a kind of D-shape. In the condition shown in Fig. 4, the container 40 is located substantially horizontally, i.e. halfway between the put-away position on the ground and the emptying position above the truck 2. The contact part 30 (Fig. 5) is connected to the connecting support part 28. For this purpose, reinforcing rib 36 is provided with screw thread into which bolt 42 can be turned. The head of bolt 42 is hereby sunk into the mounting support part 28 to prevent damage and possibly even injuries. The reinforcement rib 36 serves in this attachment as a clamp for contact part 30 which is connected thereto to connecting support part 28- The support surface 20 is connected by means of a bolt connection 24 to the support surface 16 of the receiving frame 4. If a heavier container 40 is lifted ( Fig. 6) a greater force must be absorbed by the contact part 30. For the embodiment shown, Fig. 4 shows the depositing of an emptied container 40 and in Fig. 6 the lifting of a still-filled container 40.
For emptying a container 40, the hooks 14 of pick-up frame 4 engage under the edge of container 40. By rotation of the lifting arms of the pick-up frame 4, the container 40 tilts and makes a pivoting movement from the ground to above the refuse truck 2. Hereby the container 40 is supported by support part 8, the container 40 resting on contact part 30. If, during driving of vehicle 2, the receiving frame touches an obstacle or the substrate, support part 8 will move along with bending or rotation of connecting support part 28 around the set angle or tilting point 26 to avoid damage and the like and at least to limit it.
The present invention is by no means limited to the above-described embodiment; the rights sought are defined by the following claims, within the scope of which many modifications can be envisaged. For example, it is possible to provide a tipping point 26 as a hinge to achieve an even greater degree of flexibility. The contact part 30 together with support part 18 can also be designed as a single element. This has the advantage that the individual components do not have to be assembled. It is also possible, for example, to have the support part 18 form an integral part of the receiving frame 4. It is also possible to completely or partially fill the recesses 32 and / or 38 with material, wherein this material can be a different type as the contact part 30. Herewith it can be achieved, for example, that a better position of holder 40 on the support part 8 is obtained, wherein, for example, the degree of damping by support part 8 is adapted to the specific requirements thereof.
