Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un método para grabar información en una portadora de disco de capas múltiples. La información es grabada en la portadora de disco de acuerdo con patrones de llenado especiales, de manera que la portadora de disco sea compatible con el estándar para los DVD-ROM, mientras se reduce el tiempo que se requiere para cerrar una sesión y/o finalizar el disco. La información es substancialmente distribuida uniformemente en las capas en bloques de una cantidad predefinida de espacio de almacenamiento. El tamaño de estos bloques puede ser flexible y fijado por el método o leído de la portadora de disco.
