Abstract
Se describe un nuevo reactivo para la aplicacion en la preparacion de materias primas minerales, principalmente minerales monometalicos y polimetalicos, de sulfuros y oxidos de metales no ferrosos, que se usa como un inhibidor de la corrosion del equipo y cuerpos de molienda, y como un recolector selectivo del metal deseado. El nuevo reactivo es una composicion de agua, sales de mercaptobenzotiazol y sus derivados, en una cantidad de 0-50%, en peso, metasilicatos de sodio en una cantidad de 0.1-10%, en peso, aminas en una cantidad de 1-5%, en peso, y ditiofosfatos en una cantidad de 0.5-20%, en peso. Tambien, se describen los metodos para la aplicacion de ese nuevo reactivo para las preparaciones de los concentrados de cobre, zinc y plomo, a partir de los minerales de sulfuros y oxidos, para el proposito de conseguir un procesamiento metalurgico adicional. En esos metodos el nuevo reactivo se adiciona totalmente, o en parte, en la fase de molienda en humedo, y en parte, segun se necesite, en la fase de flotacion, en una cantidad de 20-300 g del reactivo por tonelada de mineral. La aplicacion de este nuevo reactivo elimina la necesidad del uso de cianuro y otros agentes depresivos venenosos para metales, asi como otros recolectores.
