Abstract
Una composicion de esmalte cerámico está compuesta por una frita de oxido, un material de burbuja pequeña de silicato de bismuto, un pigmento y un vehículo. El material preferido de burbuja pequeña de silicato de bismuto se selecciona a partir de Bi12SiO20, Bi4(SiO4)3 y Bi2SiO5 cristalinos y las mezclas de los mismos. Luego de la coccion del sustrato de vidrio revestido con esmalte, los componentes del esmalte se adhieren al sustrato. El vidrio puede obtener la forma deseada con un molde reduciendo la adhesion de la region revestida al molde. Este esmalte cerámico es de particular utilidad en el coloreado de los bordes de los vidrios para automoviles, el cual mejora la imagen y reduce la degradacion de los adhesivos por radiacion ultravioleta.
