Abstract

La presente invencion suministra componentes de poliuretano y composiciones capaces de proporcionar propiedades internas de liberacion del molde en aplicaciones de moldeo estructural de inyeccion de reaccion ("SRIM"). La composicion de poliol de la invencion tiene un poliol (A) reactivo de isocianato, que tiene un peso molecular promedio, en numero, de 100 hasta aproximadamente 10,000, y una cantidad efectiva de la composicion interna (B) de liberacion del molde, que tiene un polímero (a) que contiene silicio y al menos un compuesto (b) funcional de diéster, el cual es el producto de reaccion de (i) un ácido carboxílico aromático e (ii) alcoholes que tienen 2 a 30 átomos de carbono. La invencion además suministra una composicion de poliuretano de SRIM, util en la preparacion de artículos de poliuretano moldeados, que tienen propiedades internas de liberacion de molde, la composicion comprende un componente (I) de isocianato y la composicion del poliol reactivo de isocianato (componente (II)), descrita anteriormente. En otro aspecto de la invencion, está invencion suministra métodos para emplear las composiciones reclamadas, al igual que los artículos de SRIm de poliuretano, celulares y rígidos, los cuales se producen de tales procesos.
