Abstract
En una modalidad preferida, la presente invención proporciona un procedimiento para la polimerización en fase líquida de isobutileno para fabricar oligómeros de PIB altamente reactivos, que tienen un Mn menor que 1000, usando una composición catalizadora que comprende un catalizador de Friedel-Crafts, un agente complejante, un agente de transferencia de cadena y un agente retardante de polimerización; el agente de transferencia de cadena se puede seleccionar de: a-DIB y ß-DIB y mezclas de los mismos, (Ver formulas) el agente retardante de polimerización se puede seleccionar de: (Ver Formulas).
