Abstract

La invención se refiere a una solución acuosa de polímeros de ácido acrílico que se pueden obtener por polimerización de ácido acrílico en el modo de alimentación con peroxodisulfato como iniciador en presencia de hipo fosfito en agua como disolvente, en donde (i) inicialmente son cargados agua y, opcionalmente, uno o más comonómeros etilénicamente insaturados, y (ii) se añaden de forma continua ácido acrílico en forma no neutralizada acídica, opcionalmente uno o más comonómeros etilénicamente insaturados, una solución acuosa de peroxodisulfato y una solución acuosa de hipofosfito, y (iii) se añade una base en la terminación de la alimentación de ácido acrílico a la solución obtenida, en donde el contenido de comonómero no excede de 30% en peso, basado en el contenido total de monómero.
