Abstract
En el presente documento se informa un método para determinar el antígeno libre de un anticuerpo en una muestra de suero sin diluir que comprende las etapas de: a) aplicar la muestra sin diluir a una fase sólida en la que se ha inmovilizado un anticuerpo de captura para formar un complejo de anticuerpo de captura-antígeno, en donde el anticuerpo de captura compite con el anticuerpo por unirse a un primer epítopo en el antígeno, b) aplicar a la fase sólida un anticuerpo trazador para formar un complejo de anticuerpo de captura-antígeno-anticuerpo trazador, en donde el anticuerpo trazador se une específicamente a un segundo epítopo en el antígeno, en donde el epítopo del anticuerpo trazador no se superpone con el epítopo del anticuerpo de captura sobre el antígeno, y c) determinar el antígeno libre del anticuerpo por medio de la determinación del anticuerpo trazador en el complejo de anticuerpo de captura-antígeno-anticuer po trazador.
