Abstract

Un sistema para eliminar nitrógeno de una corriente de alimentación de fluido de gas natural incluye un intercambiador de calor principal que recibe la corriente de alimentación de fluido de gas natural. Una columna de destilación recibe una corriente de fluido enfriada proveniente del intercambiador de calor principal y cuenta con una salida de vapor de retorno y una compuerta de salida de vapor lateral. La salida de vapor de retorno proporciona vapor de nitrógeno al intercambiador de calor principal la cual es calentada en el mismo. La compuerta de salida de vapor lateral proporciona vapor al intercambiador de calor principal y un compresor de reflujo recibe y comprime el fluido resultante del intercambiador de calor principal. Un posenfriador de reflujo recibe y enfría el fluido del compresor de reflujo, dirige el fluido enfriado al intercambiador de calor principal y el fluido resultante es dirigido a un dispositivo de separación de reflujo. El dispositivo de separación de reflujo tiene una salida de vapor y una salida de líquido. La salida de vapor del dispositivo de separación de reflujo dirige el fluido al intercambiador de calor principal, de modo que el fluido es dirigido a la primera compuerta de entrada de reflujo de la columna de destilación. La salida de líquido del dispositivo de separación de reflujo dirige el líquido hacia una segunda compuerta de entrada de reflujo de la columna de destilación.
