Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un método para aumentar la eficiencia de uso de nitrógeno y/o la eficiencia de utilización de nitrógeno en una planta. Dicho método comprende la modificación de la planta mediante el aumento de la actividad o expresión de una proteína etileno dependiente y gravitropismo deficiente verde amarilla (EGY, por sus siglas en inglés) en dicha planta.
