Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al uso de éteres de bis-anhidrohexitol como diluyentes reactivos en una composición reticulable de resina, adhesivo, recubrimiento o matriz para materiales compuestos. Estos productos no solo posibilitan la reducción de manera conveniente de la viscosidad de las mezclas obtenidas, sino que también conllevan una reducción muy pequeña en la temperatura de transición vítrea de las mezclas reticuladas, en comparación con otros diluyentes reactivos, a la vez que mejoran de manera espectacular las propiedades mecánicas de las últimas tales como el módulo de Young, la resistencia a la tracción, la elongación a la rotura y la tenacidad.
