Abstract

El presente documento se refiere a un método para determinar si un medio correspondiente (por ejemplo, un canal) es reutilizable para mejorar una tasa de reutilización de espacio en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica, en particular, un sistema de LAN inalámbrica y un aparato para el mismo. Con este fin, una estación recibe una señal de LAN inalámbrica a través de un medio inalámbrico específico, compara la intensidad de señal recibida de la señal de LAN inalámbrica con un nivel de CCA seleccionado de entre un primer nivel de CCA y un segundo nivel de CCA menor que el primer nivel de CCA de acuerdo con el tipo de la señal de LAN inalámbrica recibida, determina que el medio inalámbrico correspondiente es utilizable si la intensidad de señal recibida es menor que el nivel de CCA seleccionado, y puede usar el medio inalámbrico en una transmisión de señal.
