Abstract
The invention relates to a dual mass fly wheel (1, 1a, 1b) with an input part (2a, 2b) which can be rotated about a rotational axis (d) and has a primary fly wheel mass, and an output part which can be rotated to a limited extent with respect to said input part counter to the action of a spring device (15) which is accommodated in an annular chamber (9) of the input part and has a secondary fly wheel mass, and a flange part (13, 13a) which loads the spring device and is connected to the secondary flywheel mass by means of rivets (18) arranged on a pitch circle (17). In order to configure the annular chamber to be at least approximately watertight, the annular chamber is sealed radially within the pitch circle by means of a dynamic frictional contact (23, 23a, 23b) which is provided between the input part and the output part.
