Abstract
La invención proporciona las composiciones que contienen Eno1 para la entrega a un músculo. Además, la invención proporciona un método para normalizar la glucosa en sangre en un individuo con glucosa elevada en sangre, el método consiste en administrar al individuo enolasa 1 (Eno1), normalizando de este modo la glucosa en sangre del individuo. La invención también proporciona los métodos de tratamiento de uno o más estados que incluyen alteración de la tolerancia a la glucosa, resistencia a la insulina, prediabetes y diabetes, especialmente diabetes tipo 2, en un individuo, que consiste en administrar al individuo enolasa 1 (Eno1), tratando de este modo el estado en el individuo. En ciertos métodos de la invención el compuesto Eno1 se entrega al músculo.
