Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para proporcionar una superficie metálica o de hormigón de una instalación química con un revestimiento, el cual comprende las etapas de: - proporcionar una composición de revestimiento que comprende resina epoxi-funcional y agente de curado de tipo amina para la resina epoxi-funcional, en donde la composición de revestimiento comprende un compuesto orgánico que contiene silicio seleccionado del grupo de organosilanos y organosiloxanos, con la relación molar entre los átomos de silicio del compuesto orgánico que contiene silicio y los grupos epoxi en la composición de revestimiento que está en el rango de 0.20-0.75:1.00, - aplicar la composición de revestimiento a una superficie metálica o de hormigón de una instalación química para formar una capa de revestimiento y - permitir que la capa de revestimiento se cure a una temperatura en el rango de 0 a 50°C. La invención también se refiere a una instalación química que comprende una superficie metálica o de hormigón provista con un revestimiento de una composición de revestimiento curada y a una composición de revestimiento adecuada para proporcionar una superficie metálica o de concreto de una instalación química con un revestimiento. Se ha encontrado que la composición de revestimiento de la presente invención muestra un amplio espectro de aplicación y una elevada resistencia química.
