Abstract

Un sistema de transferencia de energía inalámbrica comprende un transmisor de energía (101) dispuesto para generar una señal de transferencia de energía inductiva inalámbrica para energizar un receptor de energía (105). El sistema comprende un bucle de potencia controlado por temperatura que establece una temperatura de operación para una parte de calentamiento de un dispositivo energizado. El sistema adicionalmente comprende un receptor (207) para recibir una primera temperatura para una parte de un dispositivo energizado en donde el dispositivo energizado es energizado por el receptor de energía (105). Un comparador (209) compara la temperatura medida con una primera temperatura de referencia asociada con el transmisor de energía (101). En respuesta a la primera temperatura que excede la primera temperatura de referencia, un controlador (213) procede a restringir la potencia de la señal de transferencia de energía y/o generar una alerta para el usuario. La primera temperatura puede relacionarse específicamente con una superficie de contacto del dispositivo energizado y la temperatura de referencia puede ser una temperatura máxima permisible de una superficie de contacto para que reciba el dispositivo energizado durante la transferencia de energía.
