Abstract

La invención se refiere a una interestratificación de plástico viscoelástico, propuesta para incorporarse entre dos láminas de vidrio para formar un encristalado laminado con propiedades de atenuación vibro-acústica, comprendiendo la interestratificación al menos un estrato (3) hecho de plástico viscoelástico con propiedades de atenuación vibro-acústica, siendo la interestratificación tal que la frecuencia resonante f2 del segundo modo de resonancia de una barra de encristalado laminado, con un área superficial de 25 mm x 300 mm, compuesta de dos láminas de vidrio, cada una con 2.1 mm de grosor, entre las cuales se incorpora la interestratificación, determinada por la medición de la impedancia mecánica (MIM por sus siglas en ingles) a 20°C de acuerdo con la norma ISO 16940, se encuentra entre 760 Hz y 1000 Hz y el factor de pérdida ?2 del segundo modo de resonancia de la misma barra, determinado por MIM bajo las mismas condiciones, es mayor o igual a 0.25. La invención permite una reducción en el grosor de las láminas de vidrio sin degradación de las propiedades de atenuación vibro- acústica.
