Abstract
En una tecnología convencional en la cual un modo de película se determina cuando se realiza un proceso de conversión IP (entrelazado/progresivo), un gran número de secciones de memoria de cuadro, es decir, una gran cantidad de memoria se requiere e incrementa el costo, y ha sido difícil realizar un proceso de conversión IP estable sobre una señal de conversión de fotogramas distinta a una señal de video, que tiene una regularidad. Un aparato de determinación de modo de película usa una sección de memoria de cuadro (para almacenar la imagen de un cuadro previo) para calcular la correlación entre las imágenes del cuadro actual y el cuadro previo y almacena sólo un promedio de los valores de correlación de imágenes de los varios cuadros pasados y el resultado de determinación (1 bit) del promedio. Consecuentemente, con una pequeña cantidad de memoria y una configuración de circuito simple, el aparato de determinación de modo de película puede determinar si una imagen de entrada es una señal de conversión de fotogramas 32, una señal de conversión de fotogramas 22 o una señal de video.
