Abstract

Una suspensión para un vehículo que tiene una barra de apoyo de chasis y un eje longitudinal dispuesto sustancialmente ortogonal al mismo. La suspensión para vehículos tiene un amortiguador primario que responde al aire que se acopla entre el chasis y el eje del vehículo. El amortiguador primario puede ser una muelle helicoidal que rodea la muelle auxiliar de aire. Un amortiguador de lámina secundario tiene un primer extremo para acoplarse de manera pivotal al chasis del vehículo en un acoplamiento de pivote secundario y un segundo extremo para acoplarse al eje. La configuración longitudinal del amortiguador de lámina secundario puede disponerse para desplazarse de manera angular con respecto a la barra de apoyo del chasis del vehículo.
