Abstract
Una aleta de serpentina para ensamblado entre tubos en un núcleo de intercambiador térmico, y un método para hacer la misma de una tira de metal. Los bordes de tira de preferencia tienen un ribete que comprende un espesor doble del material de tira que se extiende hacia adentro desde el borde. La tira de metal tiene dobleces que se extienden a través de la anchura de tira de bodoque la tira forme una configuración de serpentina, con los dobleces estando adaptados para hacer contacto con los tubos en el núcleo de intercambiador térmico. Múltiples hileras de persianas divididas se disponen entre dobleces adyacentes. Cada hilera de persianas divididas comprende persianas que tienen aberturas que se extienden en la dirección de la longitud de tira y formada en un par de bancos de persiana adyacentes, espaciados. Las nervaduras están dispuestas paralelas a las aberturas de persiana adyacentes a los bordes de tira y en cuando menos una porción central de la tira entre los bordes de tira, y se extienden a través del par de bancos de persiana. De preferencia, la tira tiene nervaduras formadas tanto en la porción central como a lo largo de los bordes. Después de formar las hileras de persianas divididas, se aplica presión a la tira para ocasionar que la tira plana se combe a lo largo de porciones no formadas, que se extienden a través de la anchura de tira entre hileras de persianas divididas, formando de esta manera dobleces en la tira resultando en la aleta de serpentina.
