Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para someter a combustón, un combustible que contiene nitrógeno unido, para lograr emisiones reducidas de NOx, que comprende: (A) inyectar a una zona de combustión, combustible que contiene nitrógeno unido, en una corriente que fluye axialmente; (B) inyectar oxidante en la zona de combustión en por lo menos una corriente separada del punto de inyección del combustible, comprendiendo el oxidante oxígeno puro o aire enriquecido en oxígeno, inyectándose el oxidante a un ángulo igual a, o mayor que, la suma de los ángulos formados por la periferia de la corriente de combustible, con la línea central axial de la línea de combustible y el ángulo de esparcimiento de la corriente de oxidante, inyectándose el oxidante de manera que el momento total del oxidante es por lo menos tres veces el momento de la corriente de combustible; y (C) hacer ingresar combustible de la coriente de combustible hacia la corriente o las corrientes de oxidante, y someter a combustión el combustible que se hizo ingresar con oxidante.
