Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un absorbente a base de un tamíz molecular para purificar gases mediante adsorción de las impurezas más polares o más polarizables que el gas o los gases que se deben purificar, con un nivel de recubrimiento reducido en impurezas adsorbidas, caracterizado porque este adsorbente incluye un tamíz molecular de tipo zeolita 5A y un aglutinante arcilloso de la familia de las coalinitas que tienen una concentración ponderal en seco de caolinita cuando menos igual a 75 por ciento y a lo sumo igual a 20 por ciento de cuarzo.
