La présente invention concerne de nouveaux composés tétracycliques substitués par un hétérocycle de formule (i): (i) et leurs sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables, où a, a', r2, r3, r4 et r sont définis ici. La présente invention concerne également des compositions comprenant au moins un composé tétracyclique substitué par un hétérocycle et des procédés d'utilisation des composés tétracycliques substitués par un hétérocycle pour traiter ou prévenir une infection par le vhc chez un patient.
