Abstract

개량된 자기헤드는 자기헤드 조립체내의 한쌍의 자기헤드로서 사용될 때 자기헤드의 헤드마모 특성을 저하시킴없이 크로스토크 값을 감소할 수 있다. 자기헤드가 적어도 자기코어를 각각 구비하는 제1 및 제2코어섹션을 가지며, 제1 및 제2코어섹션은 각각 자기코어 사이의 자기간극 및 그의 말단면에 근접되는 것에 의한 헤드-테이프 접촉면을 형성한다. 제1코어섹션은 자기헤드의 헤드-테이프 접촉면의 일부분을 형성하도록 헤드-테이프 접촉부분 및 헤드-테이프 접촉면으로부터 헤드-테이프 접촉면의 대향방향으로 연장되는 직선 코어부분을 가진다. 제2코어섹션은 제2코어섹션 둘레에 권선을 허용하도록 제공되는 대략 C 형상 배치를 가진다. 헤드-테이프 접촉제 1코어부분 길이는 테이프 주행방향으로 상기의 직선 코어부분의 길이보다 길게 형성된다.

Claims (7)

  1. 적어도 하나의 자기코어를 구비하며 헤드-테이프 접촉면과 헤드-테이프 접촉면에 수직인 말단면에 근접하는 것에 의해 제1 및 제2코어섹션의 자기코어 사이의 헤드-테이프 접촉면상에 자기간극을 형성하는 제1 및 제2코어부분을 구비하는 자기헤드에 있어서, 상기 제1코어섹션은 적어도 하나의 헤드-테이프 접촉코어 부분과 직선 코어부분을 가지며, 상기 헤드-테이프 접촉부분은 자기헤드의 헤드-테이프 접촉면의 일부분을 형성하기 위한 제1면 및 자기간극을 규정하기 위한 제1면에 수직인 제2면을 가지며, 상기 직선 코어부분은 헤드-테이프 접촉면의 대향방향으로 헤드-테이프 접촉 코어부분의 제2면을 따라 연장되며, 상기 제2코어 섹션은 제2코어섹션 주위에 제공되는 권선은 허용하기 위한 리세스를 규정하며, 자기헤드의 헤드-테이프 접촉면의 다른 부분을 형성하기위한 제3면 및 제1코어섹션의 제2면상에 인접하는 자기간극을 한정하도록 리세스의 개구단에 제3면에 수직인 제4면을 가지며, 상기 제1코어섹션의 헤드-테이프 접촉 코어부분의 길이는 테이프 주행방향으로 상기 직선 코어부분의 길이보다 길게 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 자기헤드.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1코어섹션은 대략 L 형상의 배치를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기헤드.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2코어섹션은 대략 C 형상 배치를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기헤드.
  4. 베이스상에 서로 이격 배치되며, 적어도 하나의 자기코어를 구비하며, 헤드-테이프 접촉면과 헤드-테이프 접촉면에 수직인 말단면에 인접되는 것에 의해서 제1 및 제2코어섹션의 자기코어 사이의 테이프 접촉면상의 자기간극을 형성하는 제1 및 제2코어섹션을 가지는 적어도 한쌍의 자기헤드를 가지는 자기기록 및 재생장치용 자기헤드 조립체에 있어서, 상기 제1코어섹션은 적어도 하나의 헤드-테이프 접촉 코어부분과 직선 코어부분을 가지며, 상기 헤드-테이프 접촉 코어부분은 자기헤드의 헤드 접촉면의 일부분을 형성하기 위한 제1면과 자기간극을 한정하기 위한 제1면에 수직인 제2면을 가지며, 상기 직선 코어부는 헤드-테이프 접촉면의 대향방향으로 헤드-테이프 접촉코어부분의 제2면을 따라서 연장되며, 제2코어섹션은 제2코어 섹션의 둘레에 제공되는 권선을 허용하기 위한 리세스를 한정하며, 자기헤드의 헤드-테이프 접촉면의 다른 부분을 형성하기 위한 제3면 및 제1코어섹션의 제2면상에 인접하는 자기간극을 한정하도록 상기 리세스의 개구단의 제3면에 수직인 제4면을 가지며, 상기 제1코어섹션의 헤드-테이프 접촉코어 부분의 길이는 테이프 주행방향으로 상기 직선코어 부분의 길이보다 길게 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 및 재생장치용 자기헤드 조립체.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제1코어섹션은 L 형상 배치를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 및 재생장치용 자기헤드 조립체.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제2코어섹션은 C 형상 배치를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 및 재생장치용 자기헤드 조립체.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 한쌍의 자기헤드는 각각의 자기헤드쌍의 제1코어섹션이 각각 한쌍의 자기헤드는 서로 마주대하는 방식으로 테이프 주행작동시에 자기테이프에 접촉하도록 평행으로 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 및 재생장치용 자기헤드 조립체.
