Abstract
본 발명은 4행정 엔진에서 캠 축에 장착되는 캠축 기어에 에어 실린더를 장착하여 전·후로 왕복운동하고 이에 따라 양 캠축 기어의 중심거리가 변경되어 캠의 양정곡선을 적절하게 변형시키므로써 흡기밸브를 저·고속에 따라 적절하게 개폐하는 자동차의 밸브 타이밍 가변장치에 관한 것으로 종래의 캠축에 의해서는 저속과 고속시에 따라 적절한 밸브의 양정을 적용할 수 없어 저속시 토크의 증가가 힘들고 고속시 출력을 높이기가 힘든 문제점이 있어왔던 바 캠축의 위상을 캠축 기어의 왕복운동에 의하여 조절하므로써 흡기밸브가 저속시에는 상사점에서 개방되어 토크를 증가시키고 고속시에는 상사점 이전에서 개방되어 출력을 높여주는 효과를 갖는 자동차의 밸브 타이밍 가변장치이다.According to the present invention, an air cylinder is mounted on a camshaft gear mounted on a camshaft in a four-stroke engine to reciprocate back and forth, thereby changing the center distance of both camshaft gears so as to appropriately change the head curve of the cam, thereby creating an intake valve.
