Abstract

본 발명은 자동차 엔진용 수냉식 냉각장치에 대한 것으로 본 발명의 목적은 처음 시동을 걸어 줄때 실린더헤드를 보다 신속히 가열하도록 하므로서 웜업시간을 단축할 수 있도록 하는데 있으며, 이를 위한 특징적인 구성으로는 물펌프에 의해 엔진의 실린더 블럭과 실린더 헤드로 보내진 냉각수가 엔진을 식힌 후 다시 라디에이터로 귀환하도록 구성된 냉각장치에 있어서, 냉각수의 흐름을 달리 하기 위해 제1, 제2수온 조절기구를 사용하며, 이들 복수의 수온 조절기구로써 시동시의 냉각수가 라디에이터를 통과하지 않고, 바로 물펌프로 순환하도록 하였기 때문에 엔진을 신속히 가열시켜 줄 수 있게 되는 것이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 물펌프(4)에 의해 엔진의 실린더 블럭(1)과 실린더 헤드(2)로 보내진 냉각수가 엔진을 식힌 후 다시 라디에이터(3)로 귀환하도록 구성된 냉각장치에 있어서, 상기한 라디에이터(3)의 하측 탱크(12)와 제4유입구(33)를 제1유입 파이프(13)로 연결하고, 제4유출구(34)를 물펌프(4)에 연결하되, 내부에 서모스탯(9)과 그 차단변(91)을 가진 제1수온 조절기구(7)와; 상기한 실린더 블럭(1)으로부터 인출된 제1유출구(25)를 하측의 제7유입구(37)에 연결하되 서모스탯(10)을 가진 제2수온 조절기구(8)와; 수평으로 돌출된 상기한 제2수온 조절기구(8)의 제6유출구(39)에서 히터(6)를 지나 제1수온 조절기구(7)의 제5유입구(35)로 연결된 제4유입 파이프(18)와; 상측으로 돌출된 상기한 제2수온 조절기구(8)의 제5유출구(38)에서 라디에이터(3)의 상부 탱크(11)로 연결된 제1유출 파이프(16)와; 상기한 실린더 블럭(1)의 제2유출구(26)로부터 제1수온 조절기구(7)의 제3유입구(32)로 연결한 바이패스 파이프(17)와; 상기한 실린더 헤드(2)의 제3유출구(27)로부터 상기한 제1유출 파이프(16)의 중단으로 연결한 제3유출 파이프(20)와; 상기한 제3유출 파이프(20)의 중단으로부터 상기한 제1수온 조절기구(7)의 제6유입구(36)까지 연결하되, 중단에 스로틀바디(5)를 경과하는 제5유입 파이프(21)와; 상기한 물펌프(4)에서부터 실린더 헤드(2)의 제2유입구(24)로 연결한 제2유입 파이프(14) 및 상기한 물펌프(4)에서부터 실린더 블럭(1)의 제1유입구(23)로 연결한 제3유입 파이프(15)로 구성하여 시동 초기에 냉각수의 온도가 낮을 때는 실린더 블럭(1)으로 공급된 냉각수가 바이패스 파이프(17)와 제4유입 파이프(18)을 통해 제1수온 조절기구(7)로 흐르고, 실린더 헤드(2)로 공급된 냉각수가 제5유입 파이프(21)를 통해 제1수온 조절기구(7)로흐르도록 하여 신속히 가열될 수 있도록 하여서 됨을 특징으로 하는 자동차 엔진용 수냉식 냉각장치.
