Abstract
본 발명은 자동차 블라인드 스폿내의 장애물의 존재를 감지하여 자동차 운전자에게 장애물의 존재를 지시하는 신호(41)를 발생시키기 위한 레이디 시스템이다. 본 시스템은 자동차의 블라인드 스폿을 향해 라디오 주파수 신호를 전달하는 일반직인 레이다 송수신기(7)를 사용한다. 수신된 반사 주파수의 도플러 시프트는 일반적으로 물체가 블라인드 스폿 안으로 이동하고 있다는 것을 지시한다. 정기 물체등과 같은 관심밖의 물체에 기인한 도플러 주파수들은 제거된다. 자동차와 거의 같은 속도 및 방향으로 이동하는 장애물들만이 관심의 대상이 되며, 블라인드 스폿 센서가 장애물이 블라인드 스폿내에 존재한다는 것을 지시하도록 한다. 지시는 자동차의 거울중 하나에 부착된 현저하지 않은 조명 지시기에 의해 이루어진다. 장애물이 존재하며 자동차의 회전 신호가 작동중일때 현저한 가칭 지시기가 가청음, 경적 등과 같은 신호를 제공한다.

Claims (15)
- 운전자에 의해 제어되는 자동차의 적어도 하나의 블라인드 스폿지역에 있는 장애물의 존재를 탐지하기 위한 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템에 있어서, a) 하나의 블라인드 스폿 지역으로 신호를 전달하여 반사 신호를 받기 위한 적어도 하나의 장애물 탐지장치, b) 적어도 하나의 장애물이 적어도 하나의 블라인드 스폿에 존재하는가의 여부를 탐지하기 위하여 수신된 반사 신호를 처리하기 위해 각각의 장애물 탐지장치에 연결된 신호처리 장치, c) 각각의 탐지된 장애물이 잠재적으로 위험한 것인가를 결정하기 위해 신호처리장치에 연결된 처리장치, 및 d) 운전자에게 자동차의 적어도 하나의 블라인드 스폿에 있는 잠재적 위험 장애문의 존재를 지시하기 위해 처리장치에 연결된 지시장치를 포함하는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 장애물 탐지장치가 하나의 레이다 송수신기인 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 장애물로부터 수신된 반사 신호가 잠재적 위험성 결정을 위해 선택된 시간동안 지속되어야 하는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서, 선택된 시간이 자동차의 속도에 따라 변하는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 지시장치가 시스템이 작동중인 것을 지시하기 위해 최초의 지시를 발생시키는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 지시장치가 자동차의 적어도 하나의 블라인드 스폿에 잠재적 위험 장애물이 존재한다는 것을 지시하기 위하며 제2의 지시를 발생시키는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 자동차가 회전신호를 포함하며, 또한 회전신호의 작동을 탐지하기 위한 센서를 포함하며, 이 센서는 처리장치에 연결되어 있고, 지시장치가 자동차의 적어도 하나의 블라인드 스폿내에 잠재적 위험 장애물이 존재하며 회전신호가 작동중인 것을 지시하기 위하여 제3의 지시를 발생시키는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제7항에 있어서, 지시장치가 제3지시를 발생시키기 위한 하나의 가청 경보기를 포함하는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 지시장치가 시스템이 작동중인 것을 지시하기 위하여 제2가시 지시기를 포함하며, 또한 자동차의 블라인드 스폿내에 잠재적 위청 장애물이 존재한다는 것을 지시하기 위하여 제2가시 지시기를 포함하는 자동 장애용 탐지 시스템.
- 제9항에 있어서, 자동차가 적어도 하나의 자동 거울을 포함하며, 제1 및 제2가지 지시기들이 적어도 하나의 자동 거울위에 또는 거울 가까이 설치된 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제9항에 있어서, 자동차가 회전 신호기를 포함하며, 또한 회전 신호기의 작동을 탐지하기 위한 센서를 포함하며, 이 센서가 처리장치에 연결되어 있으며, 지시장치가 자동차의 적어도 하나의 블라인드 스폿내에 잠재적 위험 장애물이 존재한다는 것을 지시하고 또한 회전 신호기가 작동중인 것을 지시하기 위하여 하나의 가청 신호기를 포함하는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 레이다 장치가 도플러 레이다 송수신기를 포함하는 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 레이다 장치가 자동차의 우측에 설치된 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 레이다 장치가 자동차의 후방에 설치된 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템.
- 운전자에 의해 제어되는 자동차의 블라인드 스폿내의 장애물의 존재를 탐지하기 위한 자동 장애물 탐지 시스템에 있어서, a) 상위 주파수를 발생시키기 위해 라디오 주파수 신호들의 주파수를 전달, 수신 및 비교하기 위해 자동차에 설치된 마이크로파 송수신기, b) 상기 주파수를 증폭, 시분할 송신 및 여과하기 위해, 또한 탐지신호를 발생시키기 위해 마이크로파 송수신기에 연결된 신호처리장치, c) 탐지신호가 자동차의 블라인드 스폿내의 장애물의 존재를 지시하는가를 결정하기 위해 신호처리장치에 연결된 처리장치, 및 d) 운전자에게 장애물의 존재를 지시하기 위채 처리장치에 연결된 지시장치를 포함하는 자동 장애물 탐지장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
