Abstract

내연기관의 2차공기 공급장치 및 기체가열장치는 특히 저온시동싱도 내연기관의 촉매장치에서 배기가스정화를 성능높게 할 수 있도록 구성되어 있다.
2차공기공급장치는 내연기관의 흡기측과 배기매니폴드(exhaust manifold)를 연통하는 2차공기도입통로를 통하여 그 촉매장치로 2차공기를 공급한다.
이 장치에서 발열체를 가진 기체가열장치는 2차공기도입통로를 구성한다.

Claims (23)

  1. 내연기관의 2차공기공급장치에 있어서, 그 내연기관의 흡기축과 촉매를 연통하는 2차공기도입통로에 발열체를 가진 기체가열장치를 설치함을 특징으로 하는 위 내연기관의 2차공기공급장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 그 발열체에는 전원에 의해 도통되어 발열되는 전기저항체를 구성함을 특징으로 하는 위 내연기관의 2차공기공급장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 그 발열체에는 온도센서를 부착시키며 그 발열체의 전원을 그 온도센서에 의해 검출된 발열체의 온도에 따라 제어유닛에 의해 저어함을 특징으로 하는 위 내연기관의 2차공기공급장치.
  4. 중공의 원통형상 케이스와, 그 케이스에 부착한 양(+) 및 음(-)전극과, 그 전극사이에 접속시킨 발열체를 구성시켜, 그 발열체는 전기저항체를 나선상으로 감아 형성시켜 그 케이스의 축방향과 동일한 방향으로 형성되고 공기통로를 형성하도록 그 케이스내에 설치함을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 그 발열체는 시트형상으로 구성함을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 다수의 발열체는 그 케이스내 간격에서 직렬로 설치되며 접속부재에 의해 그 발열채를 서로 접속시킴을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 그 대향하는 발열체는 이들의 공기통로가 서로 얼라이먼트(alignment)(중심맞추기)로 배치되도록 설치함을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  8. 제5항에 있어서, 그 접속부재에는 로드(rod)를 구성시켜 그 발열체의 중심부를 서로 접속하며, 그로드의 양단부는 홀더(holde)에 의해 지지디고, 그 홀더는 케이스에 조정되며, 창공(window hole)은 그 홀더에 구성시켜 공기를 유동시킴을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  9. 제4항에 있어서, 그 케이스의 공기유입측 개구 중심부에는 볼록콘부재(Convex Cone memher)를 설치시켜 그 공기유입측 개구와 대향시킴을 특징으로 하는 기체가열장치.
  10. 중공의 원통형상 케이스와, 그 케이스에 부착한 양(+) 및 음(-)전극과 그 전극사이를 접속시킨 발열체를 구성시켜, 그 발열체는 파형(Corrugated)의 환상만곡 형상으로 구성되고 시트형상 전기저항체와 꽃받침형상 단면을 가지며 그 케이스내 공기통로를 형성하도록 그 케이스내에서 축방향으로 배치됨을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 그 발열체의 양단부는 그 케이스에 고정되도록 하는 다수의 통공을 가진 내열절연체에 의해 지지됨을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  12. 제10항에 있어서, 다수의 발열체는 그 케이스내에서 직렬로 축방향 설치를 하며, 각각은 그 발열체는 각각 서로다른 저항치를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  13. 제10항에 있어서, 그 발열체는 기체가 자유롭게 출입을 하고 다수의 세공(pores)으로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 기체가열장치.
  14. 제10항에 있어서, 그 내열절연체의 최상류측에 위치한 내열절연체와 그 케이스 사이에는 탄성체를 삽설시킴을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  15. 제10항에 있어서, 그 발열체와 내열절연체의 외주와 그 케이스의 외주사이에는 탄성을 가진 내열절연체를 삽설시킴을 특징으로 하는 위 기체가열장치.
  16. 내연기관의 흡기측(intake side)으로 공급시킨 2차공기의 변동을 주기적으로 하도록 하고 공급장치를 구성함을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 2차공기공급장치.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 그 공급장치에는 그 내연기관의 흡기측과 촉매를 연통하는 2차공기도입통로를 설치하고 펌프를 구성시켜 일정한 진폭으로 회전수의 변동을 주기적으로 하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 2차공기공급장치.
  18. 제16에 있어서, 그 공급장치에는 그 내연기관의 흡기측과 촉매를 연통하는 2차공기도입통로를 설치한 펌프와, 일정한 진폭으로 주기적인 개폐를 할 수 있도록 2차공기도입통로를 형성한 유량제어유닛(flow contrlo unit)을 구성함을 특징으로 하는 2차공기공급장치.
  19. 제18항에 있어서, 2차공기도입통로에서 그 펌프와 유량제어유닛 사이에는 릴리프기구(relief mecbanism)를 설치함을 특징으로 하는 위 2차공기공급장치.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 그 유량제어유닛은 그 릴리프기구와 일체로 되게 구성함을 특징으로 하는 위 2차공기공급장치.
  21. 내연기관의 흡기측과 촉매를 연통하는 2차공기도입통로에서 기체가열장치의 펌프를 구성함을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 2차공기공급장치.
  22. 내연기관의 흡기측과 촉매를 연통하는 2차공기도입통로에서 그 촉매에 공급되는 2차공기의 변동을 주기적으로 하도록 하는 공급장치와 기체가열장치를 구성함을 특징으로 하는 내연기관의 2차공기공급장치.
  23. 제16항 내지 제22항 중 어느 한항에 의한 내연기관의 2차공기공급장치에 있어서, 흡기온도, 수온, 회전수 또는 부스트(boost)등 내연기관의 작동상태를 나타내는 검출치에 따라 판단하는 컴퓨터유닛을 구성시켜 그 공급장치, 펌프, 유량제어유닛 또는 기체가열장치를 제어하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 위 2차공기공급 장치.
