Abstract

3차원의 입체도형을 입력할 때, 지면상에 스케치하는 듯이 조작할 수 있는 장치 및 방법을 제공한다.
마우스 등의 입력장치 (1)로부터 2차원 데이타의 선요소를 입력하고, 이것을 2차원의 디스플레이 스크린(2)에 표시함과 동시에 일단 기억장치 (10)에 격납한다. 그리고, 이 2차원 데이타의 선요소는 입체도형을 구성하는 다른 선요소로서 이미 3차원 데이타를 가지는 선요소와의 관계에서 내향(depth direction)의 정보가 얻어지는 단계에서 역투영회로(13)에 의해 차차 3차원 데이타로 변환된다. 3차원 데이타를 가지는 선요소는 기억장치(7)에 기억되고. 시야입력장치(8)에서 설치한 2차원 투영면에 투영 변환회로(11)에 의해 투영되어 2차원 데이타화하고, 2차원의 디스플레이 스크린(2)에 표시된다. 따라서, 이 디스플레이 스크린 (2)에는 입력장치(1)로부터 입력되는 아직 2차원 데이타밖에 가지지 않는 선요소와 함께 3차원화된 선요소도 동시에 표시되고, 오퍼레이터는 2차원 선요소를 스케치 감각으로 입력하는 것만으로 3차원 선요소로 이루어지는 입체도형을 작성할 수 있다.

Claims (4)

  1. 2차원 데이타의 선요소를 3차원 데이타로 변환하는 장치에 있어서, 2차원의 선요소 데이타를 기억하는 수단과, 3차원 데이타의 선요소를 기억하는 수단과, 3차원의 선요소 데이타를 2차원 투영면에 투영함으로써 2차원 데이타로 변환하는 수단과. 3차원 데이타를 가지는 선요소로서, 2차원 데이타로 변환된 선요소와의 관계에서 기억되어 있는 상기 2차원의 선요소 데이타를 3차원 데이타로 변환하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 선요소 데이타의 3차원 변환장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 3차원 선요소 데이타를 2차원 데이타로 투영 변환하는 2차원 투영면을 임의로 설정하는 것이 가능한 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 선요소 데이타의 3차원 변환장치.
  3. 3차원 데이타를 가지는 선요소와 함께 2차원 데이타의 선요소를 2차원으로 나타내는 방법에 있어서, 3차원의 선요소 데이타를 2차원 투영면에 투영하여 2차원 데이타로 변환하는 투영 변환 단계와, 투영 변환에 의해 2차원화된 선요소를 2차원 좌표의 디스플레이 스크린상에 표시하는 단계와, 2차원나 데이타의 새로운 선요소를 상기 디스플레이 스크린상에 표시하는 단계를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 선요소의 2차원 표시 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 3차원 선요소 데이타를 2차원 데이타로 투영변환하는 2차원 투영면을 임의로 설정할 수있는 단계를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 선요소의 2차원 표시 방법.
