Abstract
본 발명은 이미지 스캐너(image scanner), 팩시밀리(facsimile), 디지털복사기(digital copier)등의 화상독취장치를 통하여 입력하고자 하는 화상에 대하여 농담레벨을 갖는 화상(gray-tone image)의 경우에는 휘도(brightness)와 콘트라스트(contrast)를 2진화상(binary image)의 경우에는 임계치(threshold)가 최적값이 되도록 선정함으로써 입력되는 화상의 정보특성에 부합되도록 하는 적응형 화상 조정장치이다.The present invention provides a luminance (gray) tone in the case of an image having a light and dark level with respect to an image to be input through an image reading apparatus such as an image scanner, facsimile, digital copier, or the like. In the case of a binary image, brightness and contrast are selected so that a threshold value becomes an optimal value.
