제3도는 산화물스케일의 실재두께와 스케일내에서의 초음파신호 진행시간과의 연관관계를 나타낸 그래프이다.

Claims (4)

  1. 보일러 내부에서 유체를 통과시키는 보일러관의 내벽에 고착된 산화물스케일의 두께를 초음파탐상방식으로 측정함에 있어서, 스케일 내부에서 통과흔 초음파펄스의 진행시간에 따라 산화물스케일의 두께를 비교결정하는데 척도가 되는 기준표를 산출하는 과정과 보일러관내로 초음파 펄스를 전송시키기 위해 초음파빔의 중심선이 보일러간의 내벽에 수직되도록 초음파변환기를 보일러관의 외표면에 지향되게 설치하는 과정, 보일러관내에 최소한 50㎒ 이상의 주파수를 갖는 초음파 펄스를 전송시키기 위해 변환기에 고주파전압을 걸어주는 과정, 초음파펄스가 관과 스케일간의 경계면까지 정송되었다가 반사되어 되돌아올때까지의 진행시간(TOF1)을 측정하는 과정, 제2진행시간(TOF2)과 제1진행시간(TOF1)사이의 시차를 결정해서 이 시차를 스케일의 두께를 각각 결정하는데 척도가 되는 기준표와 비교하는 과정으로 이루어지면서, 상기 기준표는 스케일의 두께가 각각다른 다수개의 샘플용 보일러관에서 일차적으로 초음파펄스의 진행시간을 측정한 다음 물리적 또는 야금방식에 의해 실제의 스케일 두께를 측정하여 펄스진행시간과 스케일 두께와의 상관관계를 나타낸 것으로 된 것을 특징으로 하는 초음파를 이용한 보일러관의 비파괴검사방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 파지부착방식의 변환기는 보일러관의 외표면에 인위적으로 부착하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 초음파를 이용한 보일러관의 비파괴검사방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 기준표는 스케일두께와 제2진행시간(TOF2) 및 제1진행시간(TOF1) 사이의 시차에 관련된 공식에 의하여 산출하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 초음파를 이용한 보일러관의 비파괴검사방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 기준표는 스케일의 두께와 제2진행시간(TOF2) 및 제1진행시간(TOF1)사이의 시차에 관련된 연관곡선에 의하여 산출하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 초음파를 이용한 보일러판의 비파괴검사방법.
