제1도는 수계 현탁액내 Si(Ⅳ) 대 Fe(Ⅲ)의 원자비에 해당하는 규산나트륨의 양과 수용액중 오오토클레이브 법에 의해 생성된 판상 바륨페라이트 입자의 두께와의 관계를 표시하고, 두께는 X선 회절법으로 측정된 D114값으로 표시되어 있는 그래프이다.
Claims (16)
- Ti(Ⅳ), Ba(Ⅱ) 및 Co(Ⅱ) 또는 Co(Ⅱ)와 M(Ⅱ)로서의 Co이외의 2가금속과의 혼합물을 함유하는 수산화제2철의 수계(水系) 고알칼리성 현탁액에, Si(Ⅳ) 대 Fe(Ⅲ)의 원자비가 0.0025 내지 0.036의 범위에 들도록 적량의 Si(Ⅳ) 화합물을 가하고, 얻어진 수산화제2철의 수계 고알칼리성 현탁액을 200 내지 330℃의 온도에서 오오토클레이브 처리하고, 그리하여 Si(Ⅳ) 대 Fe(Ⅲ)의 원자비에 따라 그 두께가 제어되어 있는 판상 바륨페라이트 입자를 얻는 것으로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 다음 일반식(I)로 표시되는 자기기록용 판상 바륨페라이트 입자의 제조방법.BaFe12-x-yMxTiyO19(I)상기 식에서, x 및 y는 각각 1.2이하이고, M은 Co(Ⅱ)이거나, 또는 Co(Ⅱ)와 Co 이외의 2가금속과의 혼합물이다.
- 제1항에 있어서, 수계 고알칼리 현탁액에서 M(Ⅱ)와 Ti(Ⅳ)의 총합계 대 Fe(Ⅲ)의 원자비가 0.01:1 내지 0.25:1인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 2가금속이 Zn(Ⅱ) 또는 Mn(Ⅱ)인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, Fe(Ⅲ)의 원은 염화제2철, 질산 제2철 또는 옥시수산화 제2철분말인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, Ba(Ⅱ)의 원은 수산화바륨, 질산 바륨 또는 염화바륨인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, Co(Ⅱ)의 원은 질산코발트 또는 염화코발트인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, Ti(Ⅳ)의 원은 염화티탄 또는 티탄산 알칼리인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, x는 y와 같은 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- Ti(Ⅳ), Ba(Ⅱ) 및 Co(Ⅱ) 또는 Co(Ⅱ)와 M(Ⅱ)로서의 Co이외의 2가금속과의 혼합물을 함유하는 수산화제 2철의 수계 고알칼리성 현탁액에, Si(Ⅳ) 대 Fe(Ⅲ)의 원자비가 0.0025 내지 0.036의 범위에 들도록 적량의 Si(Ⅳ) 화합물을 가하고, 얻어진 수산화제2철의 수계 고알칼리성 현탁액을 200 내지 330℃의 온도에서 오오토클레이브 처리하여, Si(Ⅳ) 대 Fe(Ⅲ)의 원자비에 따라 그 두께가 제어되어 있는 판상 바륨페라이트 입자를 얻고, 그런뒤 얻어진 입자를 900℃ 이하의 온도에서 열처리받게 하는 것으로 되어있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 다음 일반식(I)으로 표시되는 자기기록용 판상 바륨페라이트 입자의 제조방법.BaFe12-x-yMxTiyO19(I)상기 식에서, x 및 y는 각각 1.2이하이고, M은 Co(Ⅱ)이거나, 또는 Co(Ⅱ)와 Co 이외의 2가금속과의 혼합물이다.
- 제9항에 있어서, 수계 고알칼리성 현탁액에서 M(Ⅱ)와 Ti(Ⅳ)의 총합계 대 Fe(Ⅲ)의 원자비가 0.01:1 내지 0.25:1인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 2가금속이 Zn(Ⅲ) 또는 Mn(Ⅱ)인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, Fe(Ⅲ)의 원은 염화제2철, 질산제2철 또는 옥시수산화 제2철분말인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, Ba(Ⅱ)의 원은 수산화바륨, 질산바륨 또는 염화바륨인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, Co(Ⅱ)의 원은 질산코발트 또는 염화코발트인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
