첨부도면은 본 발명을 구체화시키는 개략적인 공정계통도이다.

Claims (11)

  1. 메틸벤조푸란같은 불순물을 함유하는 원료페놀을 물 존재하에 증류시켜 분리스트림에 따라 상기 불순물을 함유하는 페놀(감소된 량의 불순물을 함유하는) 및 물의 혼합물을 회수하고, 이 회소된 혼합물을 물―페놀혼합물이 단일액상으로 유지되는 온도에서 물과 혼합되지 않는 추출용매와 접촉 추출시키고, 적어도 60%의 페놀을 함유하는 상기 접촉에 의해 회수된 물 및 페놀의 잔류혼합물로 부터 추출되는 불순물을 함유하는 용매를 분리시키므로써 구성되는 페놀 정제법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 적어도 일부분의 페놀 및 혼합물이 증류 칼럼에 재순환되는 정제법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 회수혼합물의 5부피퍼센트보다 크지않은 양의 추출용매를 사용하는 정제법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 회수혼합물의 1부피 퍼센트보다 크지 않은 양의 추출용매를 사용하는 정제법.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 접촉 과정이 적어도 67°C의 온도에서 영향을 받는 정제법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 추출용매로 방향족 탄화수소, 지방족 탄화수소, 염소처리된 탄화수소를 사용하는 정제법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 접축에 의해 회수된 잔류혼합물중에 적어도 70%의 페놀이 존재하는 정제법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 추출용매로 쿠멘을 사용한 정제법.
  9. 제2항에 있어서, 증류칼럼으로부터 페놀―물 혼합물이 상부상등물질로써 회수되는 정제법.
  10. 제2항에 있어서, 증류칼럼으로부터 30ppm 미만의 메틸 벤조푸란을 함유하는 페놀을 회수하는 정제법.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 회수혼합물의 0.1―1부피퍼센트의 추출용매를 사용하는 정제법.
