Description
The present invention relates to a transparent heating substrate using carbon nanotubes and a method for manufacturing the same, and more specifically, to a transparent heating substrate using carbon nanotubes having a heating element capable of controlling the heating temperature by controlling the thickness and thickness thereof, and fabricating the same. It is about a method.
In general, a nichrome wire or other metal heating element is widely used as a heating element in a food cooking device or an iron such as a toaster that requires heat.
However, since the metal heating element is an opaque material, it is difficult to visually check the heating process in the metal heating element. Therefore, it is common to set an appropriate cooking time by applying a separate timer or the like, or to estimate the time of the heating process according to the intuition of a person.
In addition, a heating element such as a heating wire that generates heat and an electric wiring for applying power thereto are complicatedly installed. In order to install such a heating element, a certain space is essentially required, which may cause a large volume of the device. Furthermore, since power supply is made through a voltage of 220V for home use, high voltage electricity is required to be insulated, and a lot of power is consumed.
In order to solve this problem, the use of a transparent heating element applying a transparent electrode manufactured using indium tin oxide (ITO) has been proposed. This means that the conductivity is further increased by adding tin oxide (SnO 2 ) to the indium oxide (In 2 O 3 ) having conductivity, which is further improved by processing ITO as a sputtering target to sputter the glass plate. In this case, a transparent conductive film can be obtained.
However, in this method, the price of indium (Indium) among the raw materials constituting the ITO is expensive and the process of synthesizing the ITO raw material is not only difficult, but also the sputtering process in the vacuum evaporator when applying to glass, etc. This is a very complicated and tricky issue. In addition, its high resistance limits its use at low voltages (below 40V), and in the case of ITO, the surface resistance can vary from a few ohms to several thousand ohms depending on manufacturing conditions. Lowering costs is a costly and demanding process.
Alternatively, thin films formed using carbon nanotubes or conductive polymers may be used. However, such a technique has a problem in that it is very difficult to lower the surface resistance to several hundred ohms or less without compromising transparency.
Therefore, it is possible to easily control the surface resistance to change the calorific value relatively freely in a wide range, economically advantageous as well as low power use, the production of a simple transparent heating element in the process is required.
Accordingly, the first object of the present invention is to implement a transparent heating element, and to control the heating temperature by adjusting the thickness of the transparent heating element, the process is relatively simple and low-power carbon nanotubes easy to control temperature It is to provide a transparent heating substrate used.
In addition, a second object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a transparent heating substrate using the carbon nanotubes described above.
In order to achieve the first object of the present invention described above, an embodiment of the present invention provides a transparent heating substrate using carbon nanotubes including a substrate, and a heat generating layer using carbon nanotubes formed on the substrate.
In addition, in order to achieve the second object of the present invention, in one embodiment of the present invention, preparing a substrate, preparing a carbon nanotube slurry mixture comprising a carbon nanotube, a binder, a solvent and a dispersant, the carbon It provides a method for producing a transparent heating element using carbon nanotubes comprising applying a nanotube slurry mixture on the substrate, and heat-treating the substrate on which the carbon nanotube slurry is applied.
According to the present invention, a transparent heating substrate having excellent economic efficiency can be manufactured through a simple process. The transparent heating substrate of the present invention can change the specific resistance of the heating layer by controlling the thickness of the transparent heating layer, and thus can control the heating temperature in various ranges in a simple manner.
In addition, since the temperature can be controlled using a low power applied voltage of 40 V or less, it is excellent in terms of economy, and equipment and cost for insulation can be reduced.
In addition, when the transparent heating substrate according to the present invention is used in a cooker for heating and processing food, it is possible to observe a state change due to heat of food located inside the heating substrate during the heating process. Therefore, since the cooking completion time of the food can be observed with the naked eye, the cooking completion time can be predicted. Therefore, a separate program setting or timer for notifying the completion of cooking is unnecessary, and accurate cooking completion time can be known. In addition, the cooking process may be visually confirmed, and thus a cooking apparatus may be manufactured to cause visual interest.
Similarly, when the heating substrate of the present invention is applied to a device that requires heating, such as a iron or a dish dryer, there is an advantage in that the degree of heating or the degree of drying of the dish can be directly observed.
On the other hand, by attaching the transparent heating substrate of the present invention to the bath mirror it is possible to prevent the fog to occur in the mirror to keep the mirror in a clear state. In addition, when the transparent heating substrate according to the present invention is installed in the lower portion of the dishwashing container after the dish is completed, the residual moisture of the dishwashing container can be dried to remove mold growth.

Hereinafter, a transparent heating substrate using carbon nanotubes and a method of manufacturing the same according to preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, the present invention provides a transparent heating substrate using carbon nanotubes. 1 is a perspective view for explaining an embodiment of a transparent heating substrate using carbon nanotubes according to the present invention, Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view for explaining the transparent heating substrate of FIG.
1 and 2, first, the
In the present invention, it is preferable to be able to observe the heating object surrounded by the
That is, it is preferable to use a transparent synthetic resin substrate, a general glass substrate, a tempered glass substrate, etc., which are excellent in heat resistance, and specifically, the heat resistance temperature level and harmlessness of the human body, which are required in a product to which the
In the case of using the synthetic resin, poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polycarbonate (Poly Carbonate; PC) satisfying both transparency and heat resistance at the same time in various synthetic resins You can choose to use it.
And the heating substrate according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a carbon
Specifically, the carbon
The carbon nanotube (CNT) is a material in which a hexagonal shape consisting of six carbons is connected to each other to form a tubular shape, and the diameter of the tube is only a few to several tens of nanometers. These carbon nanotubes have electrical conductivity similar to copper, thermal conductivity is very good like diamond, and strength is 100 times better than steel. In addition, the carbon fiber is broken even when only 1% deformation, while the carbon nanotubes are durable to withstand 15% deformation.
If less than 60 parts by weight of the carbon nanotubes are used, the conductivity is lowered, and the calorific value is insufficient. On the other hand, when the carbon nanotubes are used in an amount exceeding 80 parts by weight, the amount of the binder is relatively small, so that the carbon nanotubes can not be stably and firmly formed on the
In particular, when the heat generating substrate according to the present invention is used in a device that is repeatedly heated and cooled, such as a toaster, a dish drying device, carbon nanotube heat generation in such repeated heating and cooling process when using more than 80 parts by weight of carbon nanotube components Problems that the
As said binder, polyacryl type, polyurethane type, polyester type, or polyolefin type resin can be used, or these can also be mixed and used. The binder is mixed with the carbon nanotubes to smoothly generate heat when power is applied, and also to allow the carbon nanotube components to be fixed and firmly formed on the
In addition, the carbon nanotube slurry includes 5 to 15 parts by weight of a solvent and a dispersant. The solvent and the dispersant may be, for example, a mixture of components of the dispersion component in isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and a dispersing agent such as Triton X-100 may be used. The solvent and the dispersant are preferably 85 to 99% by weight of the solvent and 1 to 15% by weight of the dispersant.
The solvent and the dispersant serve to uniformly disperse and mix the carbon nanotubes and the binder in the slurry. When the solvent and the dispersant are used in an amount less than 5 parts by weight, the viscosity of the slurry is increased, making it difficult to apply a uniform thickness to the entire surface of the
If necessary, the glass frit may further include 1 to 5 parts by weight of glass frit. Glass frit is a kind of powder glass for electronic materials with excellent mechanical strength and chemical durability. When the glass frit is used in the present invention, the heat-generating layer including the carbon nanotube component may be formed more uniformly and airtightly by forming a mesh-like matrix, thereby being firmly attached to the substrate. Therefore, uniform heat generation is possible on the entire surface of the heat generating substrate, and the heat generating layer can be prevented from peeling off from the substrate.
If the glass frit is used in less than 1 part by weight, the improvement in adhesion performance is insignificant. Therefore, the effect of the glass frit may not be distinguished from the case in which glass frit is not added. Not only does not occur, there is a problem that can not finely control the temperature by the heating layer thickness control.
In the
That is, in the present invention, the coating thickness of the heating layer is made uniform, and precisely controlling the coating thickness is a key to controlling the heating temperature of the device. To this end, as described above, the carbon nanotubes and the binder must be mixed in the carbon nanotube slurry at a predetermined ratio, and in order to precisely control the coating thickness, the viscosity of the slurry is in the range of 5,000 to 20,000 cP. Must be maintained.
In addition, a configuration for applying power to the
1 and 2, the electrodes are generally formed on both sides of the
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a transparent heating substrate using the carbon nanotubes. 3 is a flowchart illustrating an embodiment of a method of manufacturing a transparent heating substrate using carbon nanotubes according to the present invention.
Referring to Figure 3, the method for manufacturing a transparent heating substrate according to the present invention comprises the steps of preparing a substrate (step S100), preparing a carbon nanotube slurry (step S200), the carbon nanotube slurry mixture on the substrate Applying to (step S300) and heat-treating the substrate to which the carbon nanotube slurry is applied (step S400).
First, the method for manufacturing a transparent heating substrate according to the present embodiment includes preparing a substrate (step S100). It is preferable to observe the heating object inside the
In addition, the method of manufacturing a transparent heating substrate according to the present embodiment includes preparing a carbon nanotube slurry (step S200).
The carbon nanotube slurry has a carbon nanotube, a binder, a solvent and a dispersant, and the component ratio of the prepared slurry is about 60 to 80 parts by weight of carbon nanotubes, about 3 to 10 parts by weight of the binder, as described above. The solvent and the dispersant are about 5 to 15 parts by weight, and optionally 1 to 5 parts by weight of glass print may be further used depending on the use of the present transparent heating substrate and the heating temperature.
As one of the raw materials of the heating source, a binder of polyacrylic, polyurethane, polyester, and polyolefin resins is used, and the carbon nanotube raw material and the solvent and the dispersant are mixed and dispersed, and the slurry is uniformly stirred to 5,000. Prepare a slurry having a viscosity of from 20,000 cP.
Since the present invention controls the resistivity and the heating temperature by adjusting the thickness of the coated heating layer, it is essential to apply the heating layer uniformly. At the same time, if you want to control the exothermic temperature to 40 to 120 ℃ commonly used in home drying or cooking equipment, the thickness of the exothermic layer is only a few to several tens of ㎛. Therefore, it is necessary to finely adjust the coating thickness.
To this end, it is preferable to have the viscosity range, that is, 5,000 to 20,000 cP. If the viscosity is less than 5,000 cP here, it is too thin and difficult to control the coating thickness precisely. On the contrary, when it exceeds 20,000 cP, it becomes difficult to apply | coat uniformly so that it may become too sticky and a thickness difference does not generate locally on the whole surface of a board | substrate.
Subsequently, the method of manufacturing the transparent heating substrate according to the present embodiment includes applying the carbon nanotube slurry on the substrate (step S300).
In this step, the prepared slurry is coated on the substrate with an appropriate thickness according to the exothermic temperature to be obtained by using silk screen and various printing methods.
Subsequently, the method of manufacturing a transparent heating substrate according to the present embodiment includes a step (step S400) of heat treating the substrate on which the carbon nanotube slurry is applied.
In this step, the substrate to which the slurry is applied is heat-treated at a temperature of about 80 to 120 ° C. in an atmospheric pressure environment instead of a vacuum chamber to volatilize the organic material and the solvent included in the slurry. By this process, a heat generating layer is formed on the substrate.
As another embodiment of the method of manufacturing a transparent heating substrate according to the present invention, the method may further include an electrode forming step (step S500) and a power line forming step (step S600).

Referring to Figure 4, after performing the steps S100 to S400 of the embodiment related to the manufacturing method of the transparent heating substrate, forming an electrode with a conductive material on the heat-treated substrate (step S500) and connecting the power supply line to the electrode The step (step S600) may be further performed. Here, the electrode formation may be performed by forming a conductive material such as a metal such as copper, gold, silver, or the like by screen printing.
Referring to FIG. 5, this shows that the transparent heating substrate is applied to a toaster for baking bread. When the outer housing of the toaster is made of a transparent material and the heating plate installed in the housing is used as the transparent heating substrate according to the present invention, when the bread is put into the toaster and operated, the process of baking the bread can be visually confirmed.
Therefore, it is possible to stop the operation of the device when the bread is baked more precisely as desired without installing a separate timer. In addition, it can be applied to various devices that require heat generation.
For example, it can be easily attached to existing power circuits, display circuits, and audio circuits, and can be installed at the bottom of dish dryers, bathroom mirrors, and irons, or beneath dishwashers (fails) to propagate mold or microorganisms. Can be prevented.

As a result of the experiment, it was found that the temperature of the heating layer showed a great difference as the thickness of the heating layer was finely adjusted in the unit of μm, and the heating value was sufficiently high even when a relatively small voltage (38V) was used.
