Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a resin coated metal sheet and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a resin coated metal sheet excellent in workability, friction characteristics and gloss and a method of manufacturing the same.
Resin-coated metal plate is a metal plate widely used for home and building materials requiring durability and corrosion resistance, and resin coating is applied on the metal plate to improve the corrosion resistance and lubricity of the metal plate and to prevent contaminants from adhering to the metal plate surface.
The resin coated metal sheet is manufactured by coating a resin film on the surface of the metal plate, applying heat to the surface of the steel sheet, and drying and curing the coated resin film using the heat.
Conventionally, a hot air curing method using hot air is used to heat, dry, and harden the resin coating. As shown in FIG. 1, the
The hot blast hardening method is characterized in that the drying proceeds from the top of the
However, when drying starts from the top of the
In addition, the hot furnace curing method has a disadvantage that the temperature control is not easy because hot air is supplied at a constant temperature.

Figure 2 is a conceptual diagram showing that the resin film is dried and cured according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 3 is a flow chart of a method for producing a resin coated metal plate according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Method for producing a resin coated metal plate according to the present invention comprises the steps of preparing a metal plate (S 1); Coating step of coating a resin film on the metal plate surface (S 2); And a drying step (S 3) of introducing the resin film-coated metal plate into the heating device to dry the resin film. The drying step (S 3) is to heat the metal plate to transfer heat from the metal plate to the resin film.
Step S 1 shown in FIG. 3 is a step of preparing a metal plate. Although the metal plate on which the resin composition of this invention is coat | covered is not specifically limited, A galvanized steel plate, a zinc-type alloy plated steel plate, a stainless steel plate, a cold rolled steel plate, etc. are mentioned.
Step S 2 shown in FIG. 3 is a step of coating the resin film on the surface of the metal plate, which is the same as the method used in the conventionally known resin film coating technique. For example, a resin coating film having a predetermined thickness is coated on a metal plate using a coating apparatus such as a roll coater or a bar coater. For example, the resin film may be coated with a thickness of 10 to 100 μm.
In the composition of the resin film coated on the metal plate, the resin is preferably dispersed in an organic solvent. In the present invention, it comprises a polymer resin, an organic solvent and other additives.
The polymer resin is made of a material containing at least one resin selected from polyester resins, epoxy resins, polyurethane resins, phenol resins, acrylic resins, fluorine resins, polyolefin resins, and the like, but is not limited thereto. It may be selected from a variety of materials that can be coated on the metal plate to improve the properties such as workability, glossiness and the like.
Organic solvents are volatile liquids at room temperature and atmospheric pressure and are organic compounds that dissolve other substances. It dissolves fibrin, rubber, fat and the like and does not react with the soluble substance. When the solvent is removed from the solution, the dissolved substance is recovered in its original nature. Organic solvents include alcohols, ketones, ethers, aromatic compounds, aliphatic hydrocarbons or amines. In the present invention is used mixed with the polymer resin, it is volatilized in the process of drying the resin film.
Moreover, as another additive of this invention, the surface treatment composition containing one or more additives, such as a wetting agent, a crosslinking agent, a lubricating agent, and an antifoamer, can be further added. The wetting agent improves the streaks and adhesion, the crosslinking agent enhances the corrosion resistance and alkali resistance, the lubricant improves the coefficient of friction and workability, and the antifoaming agent has the effect of further improving workability.
The resin coating is preferably manufactured in a wet state by mixing the above materials in order to easily coat the metal plate.
Step S 3 shown in FIG. 3 is a drying step of drying the resin film by introducing a resin plate coated metal plate into a heating apparatus. In this step, heat is transferred from the metal plate to the resin film by heating the metal plate.
The heating device of the drying step (S 1) may be composed of an induction furnace. In general, induction heating used for heating a metal sheet causes a change in the magnetic field by winding a copper coil (primary coil) around a metal to be heated, so that a secondary current (induction current) flows through the metal, and the induced current is a metal. When it flows in, it generates heat due to the metal's own resistance and uses the principle that the metal is heated.
The method using induction heating can locally heat or melt a metal having high thermal conductivity. In addition, the heating temperature can be controlled by adjusting the frequency of the primary AC current.
However, in the case of a magnetic plate, such as a stainless steel plate or an aluminum plate, or lacking electrical resistance, resistance heat does not occur during heating with an induction furnace, and thus, when heating the metal plate, the metal plate is not heated with an induction furnace.
In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, a heating apparatus having an
The
As heat is transferred, drying and curing of the
If the drying proceeds further, the
Drying step (S 3) is made of a plurality of processes of different heating temperature or may heat the metal plate using a plurality of heating apparatus. That is, a different heating step may be performed a plurality of times in one heating apparatus, or one heating may be performed by the plurality of heating apparatuses.
In the case of heating at a different temperature, the resin film can be efficiently dried to shorten the drying time, and a resin film having more excellent physical properties can be formed. The detailed description will be described later with examples.
In the case where a plurality of heating devices are provided, it is preferable that the plurality of heating devices are arranged continuously and arranged in order of high or low heating temperature.
For example, if three heating devices are provided and the first heating device passes through the first heating device, the second heating device, and the third heating device, the first heating device first heat-drys the resin film, and then the second heating device and The resin film is heated and dried by continuously passing through a third heating device.
And if that the heating temperature of each heating device T 1, T 2, T 3 , is to place a heating device such that T 1 <T 2 <T 3 , or T 1> T 2> T 3 . The effect will be described later through the embodiment.
The heating temperature of the heating device for drying the resin coating is preferably 100 ~ 260 ℃.
The resin composition which comprises the above-mentioned resin film does not dry smoothly at the temperature below 100 degreeC, hardening reaction is not enough, and the physical property of a film falls. In addition, at temperatures exceeding 260 ° C., since the resin burns or changes in the material of the base metal sheet, the curing reaction of the resin does not proceed any more, and only heat is consumed or rather, the over-curing reaction proceeds to promote peeling during processing. Not.
Three heating apparatuses are provided, and in the case of the first heating apparatus, the first heating apparatus, the second heating apparatus, and the third heating apparatus, the first heating apparatus is 100 to 120 캜, and the second heating apparatus is 140 to 200 It is preferable that the 3rd heating apparatus is a heating temperature of 200-260 degreeC. The effect will be described later through the embodiment.
In addition, the resin coated metal sheet according to the present invention is produced by the manufacturing method as described above.
That is, after coating the resin film on the metal plate surface, the metal plate coated with the resin film is introduced into the heating apparatus, and the metal plate is heated to transfer heat from the metal plate to the resin film to cure the resin film.
The drying step may consist of a plurality of processes at different heating temperatures or may heat and dry the resin film by heating the metal plate using a plurality of heating devices. It is also possible to arrange a plurality of heating apparatuses in series, and to arrange them in order of high or low heating temperature.
The resin coated metal sheet according to the present invention may be manufactured by the same method as described above, and the resin coating may have physical properties of at least 0.19 of friction coefficient and 70 mm or more of evaluation of workability.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to Comparative Examples and Examples. However, this embodiment is only an embodiment of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto.

On the surface of the galvanized steel sheet (zinc film thickness 3 μm, steel plate thickness 0.5 mm), a resin wet coating film (30% polyester resin, 60% ketone organic volatile solvent, 10% other additives) was used with a roll coater. After forming to 30 μm, it was dried for 48 seconds in a hot stove (atmosphere temperature 350 ℃).
After the resin film was dried, the friction coefficient, the workability (Limit Dome Height) and the glossiness of the resin coated on the steel sheet were measured and shown in Tables 1 and 2.
The coefficient of friction was measured using a drawbead tester using a low viscosity lubricant and a load of 650 kgf and a speed of 20 mm / s. Lower friction coefficient value means better lubricity.
The workability evaluation (LDH) cuts the steel plate into rectangles to prepare a specimen, and then measures a depth until a crack occurs on the surface of the specimen by inserting a 50 mm circular punch into the center of the specimen. The higher the measured value, the deeper the punch part without crack, which means better workability.
The coefficient of friction and the evaluation of workability were measured five times, and the minimum and maximum values were discarded, and the average of three measurements was evaluated.
Glossiness was a value obtained by dividing the amount of reflected light of white light by the amount of incident light under a 65 ° incident angle condition using a gloss meter. High glossiness means that the surface appearance is beautiful.
