Claims (54)
- a) 멀라이트 내에 존재하는 원소들을 가지는 하나 이상의 전구체 화합물들의 혼합물을 형성함 (여기에서, 상기 전구체 화합물들 중 하나는 클레이임),b) 혼합물을 다공성의 미경화 형태로 성형함,c) 단계 (b) 의 다공성의 미경화 형태를 불소 함유 기체를 가지는 대기 하에서 본질적으로 화학 결합된 침상 멀라이트 그레인으로 실질적으로 이루어진 미처리 멀라이트 조성물을 형성하기에 충분한 온도로 가열함, 및d) 계속해서, 미처리 멀라이트 조성물을 수증기, 산소, 공기, 불활성 기체 또는 그것들의 혼합물로 구성되는 군으로부터 선택되는 열 처리 대기 하에서 멀라이트 조성물을 형성하기에 충분한 시간 동안 950 ℃ 이상의 열 처리 온도로 가열함을 포함하는 침상 멀라이트 조성물의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전구체 화합물이 클레이와, 알루미나, 실리카, 플루오로토파즈, 제올라이트, AlF3및 그것들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 또 다른 화합물인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 다른 전구체 화합물이 알루미나, 실리카, 플루오로토파즈, 제올라이트 및 그것들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전구체 화합물이 알루미나, 실리카 및 클레이인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 불소 함유 기체가 별도로 제공되는 SiF4인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 온도가 1000 ℃ 이상인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 온도가 1050 ℃ 이상인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 온도가 1100 ℃ 이상인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 온도가 1200 ℃ 이상인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 대기가 공기, 불활성 기체, 수증기 및 그것들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 열 처리 대기가 공기 또는 질소인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 단계 (c) 의 가열이 제1 온도 및 제2 온도로의 순차 가열이며, 플루오로토파즈가 제1 온도에서 형성되고, 멀라이트가 보다 높은 제2 온도에서 형성되는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 제1 온도에서 형성된 플루오로토파즈가 별도로 제공되는 SiF4로 이루어지는 대기 중에서 형성되는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 제1 온도가 500 ℃ 내지 950 ℃ 인 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 제1 온도가 725 ℃ 이상 내지 750 ℃ 인 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 제2 온도가 1000 ℃ 이상 내지 1300 ℃ 이하인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 시간이 0.5 시간 이상인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 시간이 2 시간 이상인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 시간이 4 시간 이상인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열 처리 시간이 8 시간 이상인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전구체가 2.95 이하의 Al/Si 벌크 화학양론비를 가지는 방법.
- 제21항에 있어서, Al/Si 벌크 화학양론비가 2.9 이하인 방법.
- 제22항에 있어서, Al/Si 벌크 화학양론비가 2 이상인 방법.
- a) 멀라이트에 존재하는 원소들을 가지는 하나 이상의 전구체 화합물의 혼합물을 형성함 (여기에서, 전구체 화합물들 중 하나는 클레이이고, 혼합물은 2.95 이하의 Al/Si 비를 가짐),b) 혼합물을 다공성의 미경화 형태로 성형함, 및c) 단계 (b) 의 다공성의 미경화 형태를 별도로 제공되는 불소 함유 기체를 가지는 대기 하에서 본질적으로 화학 결합된 침상 멀라이트 그레인으로 실질적으로 이루어진 다공성 멀라이트 조성물을 형성하기에 충분한 온도로 가열함을 포함하며,멀라이트 조성물이 2.95 이하 내지 2 이상의 벌크 Al/Si 화학양론비를 가지고, 침상 멀라이트 그레인이 2.95 이상의 Al/Si 화학양론비를 가지며, 멀라이트 조성물이 2 체적% 이하의 결정질 실리카 상을 가지는, 향상된 강도를 가지는 다공성 침상 멀라이트 조성물의 형성 방법.
- 제24항에 있어서, 혼합물의 Al/Si 비가 2.9 이하인 방법.
- 제25항에 있어서, 혼합물의 Al/Si 비가 2.85 이하인 방법.
- 제24항에 있어서, 혼합물의 Al/Si 비가 2.8 이하인 방법.
- 제24항에 있어서, 전구체 화합물이 클레이와, 알루미나, 실리카, 플루오로토파즈, 제올라이트 및 그것들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 또 다른 화합물인 방법.
- 제24항에 있어서, 전구체 화합물이 알루미나, 실리카 및 클레이인 방법.
- 멀라이트 조성물이 2.95 이하 내지 2 이상의 벌크 Al/Si 화학양론비를 가지고, 침상 멀라이트 그레인이 2.95 이상의 Al/Si 비를 가지며, 멀라이트 조성물이 2 체적% 이하의 결정질 실리카 상, 및 멀라이트 그레인의 적어도 일부 상에 분포된 실리카 마그네슘 및 철로 이루어진 유리질 상을 가지는, 본질적으로 화학 결합된 침상 멀라이트 그레인으로 실질적으로 이루어진 다공성 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제30항에 있어서, 공기 중에 2 시간 동안 800 ℃ 로 가열한 후의 유지 강도가 15 MPa 이상이고, 다공도가 55 % 이상 내지 85 % 이하인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제31항에 있어서, 다공도가 75 % 이하인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제32항에 있어서, 유지 강도가 17 MPa 이상인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제33항에 있어서, 유지 강도가 19 MPa 이상인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제34항에 있어서, 유지 강도가 25 MPa 이상인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제31항에 있어서, 본질적으로 결정질 실리카 상을 함유하지 않는 멀라이트 조성물.
- 침상 멀라이트 그레인의 적어도 일부 상에 분포된 철 및 마그네슘이 본질적으로 혼입되어 있는 유리질 상을 가지는, 본질적으로 화학 결합된 침상 멀라이트 그레인으로 실질적으로 이루어진 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제37항에 있어서, 다공도가 55 % 내지 85 % 인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제38항에 있어서, 다공도가 57 % 이상 내지 75 % 이하인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제39항에 있어서, 공기 중에 2 시간 동안 800 ℃ 로 가열한 후의 유지 강도가 15 MPa 이상인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제37항에 있어서, 멀라이트 조성물 중 1 중량% 이하의 불소의 양을 가지는 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제41항에 있어서, 불소의 양이 0.5 % 이하인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제42항에 있어서, 불소의 양이 0.1 % 이하인 멀라이트 조성물.
- 제43항에 있어서, 미량 이하의 불소의 양이 있는 멀라이트 조성물.
